History

Qin Yudie was the granddaughter of Qin Tian, the Tianren Sect Master. While visiting Tianren City with Mu'er, she discovered the Dao charm within the plaque, calligraphy, and paintings of What Are You Looking At Small Shop. Though Xu Yan appeared to be a young mortal, she treated him as an unfathomable senior and recognized his works as priceless cultivation treasures. 2 5

She bought one of Xu Yan's paintings as a gift for Qin Tian, whose viewing of it helped him advance to the Sea of Consciousness Realm Second Heaven. Qin Yudie herself later reached the Spiritual Roaming Realm after drinking Xu Yan's tea. 3 4 She repeatedly sought Xu Yan's guidance through chess, even though her poor chess play exhausted him; she nevertheless gained cultivation insight from their games. 7

For her twentieth birthday, Qin Yudie moved her banquet from Tianren Mountain to Tianren City specifically so Xu Yan would attend. She seated him in a place of honor, personally peeled fruit for him, rejected Judi's hostility toward him, and treasured the wooden puppet Xu Yan carved in her likeness above the other gifts she received. 16 17 Xu Yan later entrusted her with the Heaven and Earth Chessboard, a quasi-divine artifact obtained from the Chess Saint's legacy. 45 46

Her attachment to Xu Yan turned destructive after Xue Xi became his disciple. Qin Yudie became jealous, lured Xue Xi to an isolated area, and attempted to kill her while accusing her of seducing Xu Yan. Su Jiuer intervened, and the Golden Emperor Ant sealed Qin Yudie's spiritual power before she could succeed. 62 63 64 Xue Xi ended their friendship, while Xu Yan barred Qin Yudie from his shop. 65

Regretting her actions, Qin Yudie stood outside Xu Yan's shop for ten days without food or drink, refusing to leave until he forgave her. Xu Yan eventually gave her tea, which restored her condition and triggered another breakthrough. 67 68 69 70 Despite this reconciliation, she remained haunted by her past and continued cultivating in seclusion on Tianren Mountain. 93 105

A remnant Divine Soul of an Evil God became attached to Qin Yudie and accepted her as its disciple. Under its instruction, she rapidly reached the Divine Consciousness Realm, but the Divine Soul also used her body to injure Tianren Sect elders and disciples. 150 151 After Xu Yan killed the Evil God, Qin Yudie escaped the Nine Provinces as its inheritor. 152

More than ten thousand years later, Qin Yudie was guarding a Place of Transcendence in a chaotic land. Her power had surpassed the Supreme realm, and she attempted to draw Xu Yan into a created infinite super-multiverse where they were worshipped as husband and wife. 444 She later opposed Xu Yan to prevent the Mother of All Beings from emerging, wielding Transcendence Power against him. 447 Her love ultimately drove her to imprison them both within a red cocoon; later, she transformed into Transcendence and extinguished her true self to complete Xu Yan's power. 448 463

Her affection becomes possessive after Xue Xi becomes Xu Yan's disciple.
