Background

Shen Wu'ai was born into a collateral branch of the God Clan with congenital Immortal Bones. After her direct lineage discovered her talent, they removed her Immortal Bones and transplanted them into a direct-lineage genius. The same faction pursued her family to prevent her eventual revenge, forcing her lineage to sacrifice themselves so she could escape 458 490.

Weak and deprived of her original foundation, she endured the Nine Heavens Pavilion's Illusionary Realm Life and Death Map for ninety-nine days. Ye Bufan recognized both her damaged condition and her potential, saved her, and accepted her as his disciple despite knowing that sheltering her would bring conflict with the God Clan 458.

Ye Bufan later guided her through a Nirvana transformation in the Creation Sacred Spring. Although her original Immortal Bone was gone, the process remade her entire body into a perfect innate Immortal Body, giving her Immortal Blood and Immortal Bones throughout her body 459.

She is confident in her strength, eager to test herself against stronger opponents, and initially insists on taking Heavenly Venerate-level missions despite an elder's concerns 475 476.

Her ambition is rooted in loyalty and grief rather than pride alone. She seeks strength to protect Ye Bufan, the Nine Heavens Pavilion, and those she cares for, while also intending to avenge the relatives who died to save her and confront the person who received her stolen Immortal Bone 490.

Despite her severity in battle, she is compassionate toward the vulnerable. She intervenes when she sees a woman being assaulted, comforts her afterward, and advises her not to travel alone in remote places 478.

After becoming Ye Bufan's disciple, Shen Wu'ai is named the Nine Heavens Pavilion's Goddess and cultivates in seclusion on Nine Heavens Island. Even the elder Huo Rong cannot probe her through his Divine Sense, and her warning makes him feel the threat of death 467.

Xu Yan secretly trains her in the Absolute Heaven Yin Water Domain, allowing her to become an Extreme Dao Everlasting One. Shen Wu'ai conceals his existence from Ye Bufan, regarding the enigmatic mentor as her personal secret 472 474 475.

Devil Lotus Valley Mission

Seeking to test her new power, Shen Wu'ai accepts a Heavenly Venerate-level mission to destroy the Devil Lotus and prevent the rebirth of the ancient Heavenly Devil 475 476. The Black God Cult ambushes her on the way, but she overwhelms its Everlasting One leader and eight Human Dao Realm experts, learning that the God Clan arranged the attack 477.

At Devil Lotus Valley, she battles the reborn Heavenly Devil using her innate immortal techniques. The prayers of beings in the Barren Sky Domain manifest as Prayer Power and strengthen her during the fight 479.

Heavenly Venerate Tribulation

After reaching the true extreme of the Longevity Realm, Shen Wu'ai accepts Xu Yan's method of breaking through through combat. His trial forces her to confront her reasons for pursuing strength, leading her to break into the Heavenly Venerate Realm 489 490.

She endures the strongest Heavenly Venerate Tribulation in history, including manifestations of Ye Bufan and Xu Yan. By awakening the Mortal World Immortal transformation and the Immortal Taboo Domain, she completes the tribulation as the first Eternal Venerate of the Human Emperor Era 493 494 495.

Immortal Realm Enforcement Hall

After helping defend the Nine Heavens Pavilion against the Sky-Opening God Devils, Shen Wu'ai chooses to enter the Immortal Realm to continue cultivating. Her arrival is immediately complicated by a murder investigation in Tian Zhe Immortal City, but she proves capable of defeating Supreme Tian Zhe's Immortal Power giant hand as a Heavenly Venerate 497 500 501.

Disturbed by the injustice surrounding Tian Zhe Immortal City's destruction, she chooses to pursue both law enforcement and cultivation. The Heavenly Saint King accepts her into the Immortal Realm Enforcement Hall after she withstands a test against the second-stage Overlord Ye Qing 505 506 507.

Conflict with the Imperial Clan

Over a century after joining the Enforcement Hall, Shen Wu'ai leads a renowned enforcement team as a ninth-tier Overlord. She confronts Emperor Slaughter after learning of the Imperial Clan's connection to the Bloodthirsty Devil Race and kills him when he threatens White Emperor Immortal City 514 515.

Emperor Venerate then challenges her. Shen Wu'ai meets him without fear, blocks his attacks with her nine Mortal World Immortal Rings, and later severely injures him with Mortal World Immortal Power 515 517.

Dark Origin Invasion

When Dark Origin Power invades infinite spacetime, Shen Wu'ai becomes a Transcender through the Immortal Taboo Domain. She warns the Immortal Realm's great figures to end their infighting and prepare for the greater crisis 518.

During the ensuing war, she destroys a Dark Transcender's attack on the Immortal Realm, battles two Dark Transcenders simultaneously with billions of Immortal Rings, and retrieves the Heavenly Dao Sword to suppress them. 519 520
