Background
Qi Sheng was originally a mortal who crossed into the monster world. During a crisis, Di Zhao's four loyal servants rescued him and brought him to Emperor's Tomb Village. Although the servants had sought Di Zhao's remaining origin themselves, none could inherit it; Qi Sheng instead received the solidified origin and their eventual allegiance. 20
After fusing with the origin, Qi Sheng slept for 300 years, then spent another century learning about Di Zhao's powers and the monster world under the servants' guidance. His Di Zhao body cannot be strengthened through conventional cultivation; recovering and containing lost Primal Power is his only path to becoming the true Di Zhao. 20
To defend Emperor's Tomb Village against the Black Tide, he devised the Challenger Plan: recruit beings from other worlds as Players, let them grow through the Challenger System, and use their conquests to generate Sacrificial Power, recover Primordial powers, and reclaim Domain Nodes. 20
Qi Sheng later discovers that the Black Tide has reached Earth. He treats the Player faction's growth as essential preparation for the coming conflict, while also recognizing that Earth must experience hardship before its defenders can become true warriors. 18 576
Personality
Qi Sheng is calculating, adaptive, and strongly motivated by efficiency. He studies player behavior, resource flows, factional conflicts, and new playstyles, then turns useful discoveries into system updates that strengthen both the Players and his own Di Zhao foundation. 35 74 334
Before inheriting Di Zhao's origin, he was a devoted gamer. He deliberately permits competition between Players because rivalry creates demand for strength and resources, though he also introduces systems to limit destructive internal behavior when necessary. 45 273
Despite treating the Player faction as a source of Sacrificial Power and military potential, Qi Sheng takes genuine satisfaction in watching it mature. He compares their rapid growth against the Black Tide to watching his own child grow up. 74
