Background / History

An Zhen arrived on the Douluo Continent as a mysterious youth whose Martial Soul, the World Modulation Mode, formed a concealed virtual world centered on himself. He located Huo Yutong because he needed the Daughter of Destiny's assistance for both his cultivation and his eventual opposition to Tang San. His first demonstrated Soul Skill, Reflection, renovated their dormitory by reflecting his world into reality. 2

After awakening with innate full Soul Power, An Zhen was adopted by Jing Hongchen, Hall Master of Mingde Hall, and grew up as the Hongchen family's young master. He later entered Shrek Academy to study Martial Souls, despite already having substantial Sun Moon Empire backing. 196 400

At Shrek, he formed close bonds with Huo Yutong, Wang Dong'er, Zhang Lexuan, and other students. His ability to replicate Martial Souls drew the attention of Shrek's teachers, while Mu En recognized his extraordinary potential and accepted him as a disciple.
