Uchiha Nan and Mito Uzumaki stood facing each other in an open clearing.

Dozens of trees stood in the distance, with a few people scattered across each one, watching Uchiha Nan and Mito Uzumaki's battle from above.

Lightning surged all over Uchiha Nan's body. With a crackle, he transformed into a streak of lightning and charged at Mito Uzumaki.

With a thunderous boom, Uchiha Nan's Ninja Blade was stopped in midair. Mito Uzumaki was now covered in a dark-red Chakra Cloak, with five tails emerging behind her. One of them flexed slightly.

With a crack, the Ninja Blade that had accompanied Uchiha Nan through years of battle snapped in two. His heart ached.

That sword had been expensive!

It had cost him a full 700,000 ryo. He didn't even know how many precious materials had gone into it to make it nearly perfect at transmitting his Lightning Release Chakra.

Uchiha Nan panted heavily. Even he got tired after firing off two powerful Ninjutsu in quick succession.

A white skeleton appeared around Mito Uzumaki. She had begun to transform into a Tailed Beast!

Mito Uzumaki bellowed. The dozen magma projectiles were blown away by the sound waves, while Chakra gathered steadily in her mouth, forming a dense sphere.

The Chakra sphere and the Lava Release Rasengan Shuriken collided and exploded. A blinding white light erupted, reducing everything nearby to ash.

Uchiha Nan darted away from the center of the explosion. He had only just escaped when Mito Uzumaki began firing Chakra spheres from her mouth like a machine gun, each one as powerful as the last.

Uchiha Nan couldn't help but marvel. Was this the joy of having an unlimited Chakra bar?

With a bang, it shot out, snapping every tree in its path in half.

This Tailed Beast Ball was so huge that Uchiha Nan really couldn't absorb it.

The entrance to the Kamui Dimension simply couldn't fit it.

But that was fine. Uchiha Nan could still dodge!

Just as the Tailed Beast Ball was about to hit him, Uchiha Nan's body turned intangible, and the Tailed Beast Ball passed straight through the space he occupied.

Inabi Uchiha sounded smug. He'd been clever enough to choose a spot far away, and the moment things looked bad, he'd made a run for it.

Hyuga Takuma was sweating profusely. He thanked Inabi Uchiha while leaping from branch to branch without stopping. Seeing as the Hyuga Clan and Uchiha Clan were allies, Inabi Uchiha had given him a quiet warning about where to stand.

That had kept Hyuga Takuma at a safe distance too. When Inabi Uchiha realized things were going south, he'd shouted, "Run!" and bolted.

Hyuga Takuma had followed without a second thought. The other Clan Heads hadn't even reacted when a Tailed Beast Ball came flying at them.

A massive explosion rang out, followed by a powerful shock wave that sent those who'd reacted too slowly flying. Luckily, their injuries weren't serious. A few days of treatment from a Medical Ninja would be enough.

Uchiha Nan returned to solid form and kept his distance from Mito Uzumaki, his expression grave.

He couldn't keep this up. Uchiha Nan felt like he was constantly being beaten down. The Nine-Tailed Demon Fox was ridiculously overpowered.

With practically unlimited Chakra and long-range attacks, she had the firepower of a full barrage, leaving Uchiha Nan unable to get close!

And why the hell hadn't Tobirama Senju let Mito Uzumaki out to play during the First Shinobi World War?

She could've just stood in the middle of the battlefield and spewed out those Chakra balls!
