Background

Ian presented the warship with a list of possible names. Wawa showed no interest in emotionally themed names, but enthusiastically chose Leviathan after Ian explained its association with powerful sea or void creatures; Wawa considered the other options unsuitable for a living creature. 39

Leviathan was openly introduced to Lia as a magical creature whose true body was the ship itself. Its small green-bean-sized eyes could emerge from the walls, and it sent Lia a friendly Spirituality message. Ian chose not to conceal its existence, believing the revelation would deter hostile intentions, while keeping its spatial characteristics secret. 41

During its early voyages, Leviathan's speed and maneuverability already gave it an advantage over conventional sailing warships. It could detect approaching vessels and warn Ian directly, allowing the crew to operate without routine watches. 42 46

Leviathan grew by consuming Spirituality materials and periodically entered hibernation before major transformations. High-level materials associated with Life or Order could improve its potential as well as accelerate its development. 55 110 114

Its first major evolution remade it from a galleon into a Level 5-standard battleship. Subsequent evolutions transformed it into a metal-armored warship, then an energy-weapon-equipped sea fortress whose speed, shielding, storage capacity, and firepower surpassed the warships of the Sea of Miracles. 117 235 300 378

Leviathan's later form is a massive, slender silver-gray battleship with sharp, aggressive hull lines, towering turrets, and a high superstructure. Its distinctive silhouette remains recognizable even after repeated evolutions. 378 379 449

It is strongly reactive to damage to its body. When an enemy Lava Mage destroyed one of its giant anchors, Leviathan became enraged and retaliated with its remaining anchor. 169
