Gin Ichimaru's Self-Rescue
Gin Ichimaru was inwardly bitter. Aizen had told them that the Fourth Division Captain's strength was extraordinary, but he had never mentioned that Unohana Retsu's combat power was this strong. With such Zanjutsu, why was Zaraki the Kenpachi?
It was just a small opening, which Unohana Retsu seized upon, and he immediately used a hidden weapon to severely injure him. Fortunately, Gin Ichimaru twisted his body at the critical moment, which prevented him from being killed by Unohana Retsu's knife.
Since both he and Kaname Tōsen were severely injured and collapsed, Gin Ichimaru originally thought that Aizen was about to abandon them and leave. Gin Ichimaru even started to plan how to escape after entering the Sokyoku Hill.
Based on Gin Ichimaru's understanding of Soul Society, criminals like him, who are powerless to resist, would definitely undergo a trial before being convicted. By then, his body would likely have largely recovered, and he could find an opportunity to escape. Using the secret research lab left behind by Aizen, he might be able to escape to Hueco Mundo.
Gin Ichimaru has no attachment to Soul Society. If he had to say what he would miss most, it would probably be Rangiku. But there's nothing he can do; everything he does is for Rangiku's sake.
Just as Gin Ichimaru was plotting and Aizen was in crisis, the arrival of Arrancar reinforcements led by Stark gave Gin Ichimaru hope, suggesting that perhaps the situation wasn't so bad after all.
Things didn't turn out as ideally as Gin Ichimaru had imagined.
Just as Gin Ichimaru had predicted, as long as Aizen could free up his hands, he and Kaname Tōsen still be of use. However, he did not expect that the intervention of the Ryoka from the World of the Living would cause the situation to develop in a bad direction.
First, Aizen was bound by two skilled swordsmen. Then, the guy named Sawada Tsunayoshi took the initiative to confront Stark. Not only that, he also called his companions to help disperse Ulquiorra and Sora Inoue's power.
Lying on the ground but not unconscious, Gin Ichimaru could see clearly that the fireworks blooming high above Sōkyoku were the battlefield between Tsuna and Stark. With just that one glance, he had completely given up on Stark. That lazy guy could never defeat the unfathomable Sawada Tsunayoshi.
Gin Ichimaru then turned his gaze to Ulquiorra. Ulquiorra was quite reliable; he was devoid of extraneous emotions and, in a way, could be considered single-minded. He would definitely be able to complete any task given to him.
As Gin Ichimaru was thinking this, Ulquiorra and Ichigo Kurosaki that sent him flying into the ground beneath Sōkyoku. It was one thing for them to fall, but Gin Ichimaru could still feel the intense tremors in the ground, and he began to wonder if he would die in the aftershocks of Ulquiorra and Ichigo's attacks.
Finally, Gin Ichimaru could only turn his gaze to Sora Inoue Sora Inoue, and coincidentally, their eyes met at that moment.
With just one glance, Gin Ichimaru could tell that Sora Inoue wasn't taking it seriously at all; it was just like a child's game.
Perhaps that glance had an effect, because Gin Ichimaru saw that Sora Inoue was finally getting serious. Not only that, he even started using his strange stretching ability to save people.
Gin Ichimaru saw the beginning but didn't expect what would happen next. He was just dragged to Sora Inoue's side when he got a solid kick from Sora Inoue.
Although Gin Ichimaru could tell that Sora Inoue was doing it for their own good, to protect them from the Quincy's attack, he still felt like he was being played.
Not only the inner pain, but the physical pain was the most fatal. Gin Ichimaru's wound was almost stopped bleeding, but Sora Inoue's kick made it even bigger. If this continued, he would bleed to death before Aizen could rescue them.
Having seen this, Gin Ichimaru had a clear understanding of the situation. If things continued as they were, Aizen might win, but he would definitely not win before his life ended.
Coupled with the frantic tremors underground, under White Ichigo's control, Ichigo Kurosaki was unleashing the serpentine Getsuga Tensho in various poses. If Getsuga Tensho breach the ceiling underground, Gin Ichimaru would perish as well.
Unable to rely on Aizen, unable to rely on the Arrancar, Gin Ichimaru could only rely on himself. Enduring the pain, Gin Ichimaru squeezed out a little spiritual pressure and cut his arm.
A tiny syringe slipped into Gin Ichimaru's palm. This was his trump card. Over the years, while following Aizen around conducting experiments, Gin Ichimaru had also been secretly plotting his own agenda.
This injection has only two functions: to forcibly unleash spiritual pressure at the cost of lifespan, and to shut down the user's pain receptors. It's something Gin Ichimaru uses to risk his life.
Gin Ichimaru had previously planned to use this thing to escape from the Sokyoku Hill. The syringe was hidden in his arm, so he wasn't afraid of being searched by the Seireitei. He could either retrieve his Zanpakuto after escaping or escape directly to Hueco Mundo.
Now that Gin Ichimaru has decided to use the injection ahead of schedule, the entire Sōkyoku battlefield lacks someone to break the balance.
As the injection pierced his body, the pain in his chest disappeared, though blood continued to flow. Gin Ichimaru had no time to treat him, so he hastily wrapped his body with the bandages of the Senbonzakura, then unleashed his spiritual pressure and thrust out the Shinsō.
Lisa and the others were the first to notice that Gin Ichimaru acting strangely. Before Hiyori and Kuna Hak could break free from Sora Inoue's restraints, Lisa had just stood up with her sword when an invisible blade pierced through her body.
The speed was too fast; even Unohana Retsu couldn't deal with the Shinsō's Zanjutsu with the naked eye.
Hachigen Ushōda was about to make his move, he was unaware that Gin Ichimaru had already set his sights on him. Having had time to observe the entire Gin Ichimaru naturally knew who was the most threatening and who seemed like an easy target.
With another slash, he pierced through Hachigen. He didn't even glance at those two Gin Ichimaru like Hiyori; he couldn't afford to waste any energy.
Uryū noticed the change on the battlefield, twisted his body to dodge Sora Inoue's outstretched fists, and then unleashed a Hirenkyaku towards Gin Ichimaru's face.
The Hirenkyaku, a dense barrage of bullets, would have been difficult for most people to withstand, but Gin Ichimaru was different; the raindrops could not keep up with Mutata's speed!
A series of white flashes appeared, and all the arrows were caught by Gin Ichimaru. Not only that, his sword was also aimed at Uryū.
Just as Gin Ichimaru was catching all the Hirenkyaku, Sora Inoue's Cero circled back and struck Uryū in the back before Gin Ichimaru could react.
Uryū was completely unprepared for this attack. Under the impact of the Cero, he couldn't even maintain his wings, which Quasi-Vollständig, and fell unconscious onto the Sōkyoku.
The moment he was tricked, Uryū guessed Sora Inoue's thoughts. Since he had already obtained the item, he might as well sell Sora Inoue out of his life to make things difficult for him when he returned.
"As expected of Lord Gin, your strength is truly impressive." Sora Inoue swam over and flattered Gin Ichimaru.
Uryū's sudden injury made Gin Ichimaru realize that something was wrong, but he didn't say anything. After all, he wasn't completely loyal to Aizen, nor did he have the right to demand that Sora Inoue be loyal.
"Follow me," Gin Ichimaru said calmly. He no longer had the strength to speak and had to focus all his energy on attacking.
The Shinsō pointed diagonally at the ground, unleashing another series of Mutō Renjin strikes. Upon seeing this, Sora Inoue immediately followed the trajectory of the Shinsō and unleashed a freely extending and retractable Love Spear.
Gin Ichimaru no longer cared whether those below were his own people or not, and simply used his Shinsō to stab indiscriminately. Whether it was Ichigo Kurosaki or Ulquiorra, they were all absorbed by Gin Ichimaru's Mutō Renjin.
The two bastards below were fighting like madmen, completely disregarding the life or death of Gin Ichimaru, who was lying on top of them. After a flurry of stabbing, Gin Ichimaru's anger subsided considerably, and he glanced at Sora Inoue.
Sora Inoue brought Ulquiorra, who was riddled with holes, up. Fortunately, Ulquiorra's injuries were all external and could be healed with High-Speed Regeneration. Meanwhile, Ichigo Kurosaki was firmly bound to a corner of the underground space by the Bending-Bending Free Love.
"Take the others with you." This was said to Sora Inoue, Sora Inoue readily complied, extending his flexible Love Spear to Kaname Tōsen along as well.
Gin Ichimaru looked up and saw that the battle between Tsuna and Stark had ended high in the sky. Stark was holding Lilynette and barely standing in the air, while Tsuna's gun was already pointed in their direction.
The infinitely multiplying bombs—only with overwhelming firepower can one understand why Uryū often starts with a barrage of Hirenkyaku and firepower. Now, Tsuna also enjoys this feeling; no matter how strong the opponent is, he just bombs them head-on first.
"Stop him." Gin Ichimaru's words remained concise and to the point.
Ulquiorra and Sora Inoue exchanged a glance. Ulquiorra then hurled the Moonblade, Cero, and Sora Inoue immediately followed up with a Cero. With the aid of Sora Inoue's Cero coils, Ulquiorra's attack unleashed even greater power.
With a deafening boom, the explosion could be heard and heard throughout the entire Soul Society.
Tsuna was speechless. Without making a sound, he took a step towards Stark and the others, shielding these two weaklings from the aftershocks of the battle.
A pink piece of chewing gum emerged from the explosion and instantly bound Tsuna into a mummy shape, leaving only his head sticking out.
As for Gin Ichimaru's Shinsō, it was never aimed at Tsuna; what he wanted to do was to free the boss.
A flash of light appeared in the smoke, and Kenpachi Zaraki, who was in the midst of a fierce battle, was completely unaware of the attack from behind. The Shinsō pierced through his chest, and the coordinated attack rhythm between him and Unohana Retsu was immediately exposed.
Aizen wasn't about to let this opportunity slip by. A flash of light appeared on the mirror, and Aizen unleashed an incredibly powerful slash.
The Kyōka Suigetsu.
Unohana Retsu had no choice but to take Aizen's attack; Kenpachi Zaraki would have been cleaved in two by Aizen's swift strike.
Unohana Retsu's intervention brought another problem: they could no longer entangle Aizen, Aizen regained his freedom.
Sora Inoue flew towards Aizen, riding on his spiritual pressure. Behind him, three of them were suspended by Ai, which increased to five when he passed Tsuna, like a squid bringing everyone to Aizen's side.
"Gin, you really know how to hide." Aizen sighed as he looked at Gin Ichimaru. If Gin Ichimaru hadn't made his move, Tsuna would have really lost once he was completely free of attacks.
"Cough cough." Gin Ichimaru coughed up two mouthfuls of blood, and the bandage on his chest was soaked with blood. He didn't have the strength to answer Aizen's question. In order to fight for that sliver of hope, he had to fight desperately.
Speaking of Tsuna, a red flame burned a hole in Tsuna's waist, and the cat-like Gua emerged from the belt. Its mouth was full of red Storm Attribute flames, and it untied the flexible Love Bindings from Tsuna one by one.
"Don't worry, melon," Tsuna comforted him, because he could already feel the spiritual pressure of the Kido permeating the world; Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto had finally brought back reinforcements.
