An Unexpected Extermination
Thump, swish.
Yammy fell from the sky in a very disheveled state, his Zanpakuto stuck in front of him with a very obvious crack on it, looking like it was about to break in two.
Yammy's body trembled uncontrollably, his hand still struggling to reach for his Zanpakuto. He didn't want to fail; he could fight again.
"Let's stop here for now. If you keep struggling, I'll get a headache."
Yammy struggled to lift his head, and what he saw was Tsuna's face covered by a half-metal mask. He couldn't make out his expression anymore, but it probably wasn't a pleasant one for him.
A blush crept onto Yammy's cheeks. He refused to admit that he was a loser. Driven by rage, he was determined to unleash his Zanpakuto once more.
Just as Yammy's hand was about to touch his knife, a piece of gravel shattered his trembling hope, striking the back of his hand and leaving him with no strength left to move.
He was defeated. No matter how unwilling he was, Yammy had to accept this fact. He could see the cracks in his Zanpakuto clearly. The only consequence of forcibly releasing the sword was that he would completely transform into a berserk Hollow.
Losing one's reason and mind—how are they any different from those Gillians?
Perhaps Yammy was also afraid, afraid of mental death. No matter how angry he was, he no longer mustered the strength to touch that fragile Zanpakuto, and simply waited for Tsuna's execution.
The rain began to fall, Omega Scissors shattered into countless raindrops that fell upon Yammy. In no time, Yammy was engulfed by these stones imbued with the power of Mountain Flame.
Tsuna replicated the mountain he was leaning against, using rocks formed from the collapsed mountain. This time, the mountain didn't appear behind him, but instead pressed heavily on Yammy's body.
Yammy was even more pitiful than the monkey trapped under the Five Finger Mountain; only his head could peek out, while his body and arms were completely crushed by the newly appeared mountain.
The moment the mountain took shape, blue veins flashed across its surface. It was the power of the Blut that arranged the Mountain Flame according to the Blut Vene's pattern. Ordinary Arrancar simply couldn't save Yammy from this mountain.
Unless a level Espada Arrancar the mountain repeatedly, Yammy will have no choice but to remain subdued here until Tsuna finishes his work.
"Just stay put, I have no intention of killing you." Tsuna said, squatting down in front of Yammy, without explaining why, Yammy walked straight towards the central palace.
Watching Tsuna's retreating figure, Yammy felt a mix of emotions. He was definitely angry, but there was also some confusion in his anger. Did the loser in the battle not have to die? This seemed somewhat inconsistent with his worldview as a Hollow.
As Tsuna left, a Visored puppy darted out from the side hall. It was very fast and soon arrived at Yammy's side, whimpering.
Cucaporo is Yammy's subordinate. He bears the mark of the 35th Arrancar on his back. Although he is very weak in combat, he always stays by Yammy's side, sharing life and death with him.
Upon seeing the subordinate arrive, Yammy was about to reprimand and drive it away, but then he remembered how Cucaporo had run past Tsuna earlier. Could it be that Tsuna really didn't intend to kill him?
At least the other party wasn't a bloodthirsty person. Arrancar with a penchant for killing are quite common in Las Noches. If it weren't for Yammy's status as Espada protecting him, Cucaporo would have been easily killed long ago.
"Fine, I'll just have to wait." Yammy gave up the idea of resisting. Anyway, he wasn't alone. It was just a matter of waiting a while. Since his true form was ethereal, he was least afraid of waiting.
Tsuna hadn't gone far when he stopped in his tracks. He saw Urahara Kisuke and Sora Inoue walking out of the palace, chatting and laughing. Sora Inoue even waved happily at Tsuna.
"Wait, Inoue -nii, don't you even need to pretend?" Tsuna chuckled. After all, Sora Inoue was an undercover agent; shouldn't he at least put on a show on his turf?
"Just like you said, Lord Aizen knows everything. Rather than pretending not to know him, let's keep it simple and do whatever makes us happy," Sora Inoue said nonchalantly.
"So, you've really become our diplomatic ambassador World of the Living Hueco Mundo?"
"Pretty much. I think Lord Aizen probably has that idea in mind." Sora Inoue thought that Aizen's decision to have him pick up Tsuna and the others was a deliberate attempt to clarify their relationship.
If Sora Inoue is to continue performing information relay duties in Hueco Mundo, then a diplomatic ambassador position would be a good fit.
"Huh? In that case, shouldn't Soul Society also send someone to Hueco Mundo?" Urahara Kisuke. Their original goal was to unify the power of the Three Worlds and fight against the Wandenreich together, so sending someone from Soul Society to guard it would be a reasonable choice.
"Mr. Urahara, if you allow me, I can accept this job," Ashido said. He had already adapted to the monotonous environment of Hueco Mundo and thought he was a good candidate.
"Don't worry, Mr. Ashido, Soul Society sent people to Hueco Mundo a long time ago," Tsuna said.
In Tsuna's opinion, Ashido is really not a good candidate to guard Hueco Mundo. Simply put, Ashido is too straightforward. He said he would destroy the Hollows, and he actually stayed in the Forest of the Hollows for more than two hundred years.
"That's right, that's right, Soul Society has indeed chosen a candidate."
Upon hearing Tsuna's words, Urahara Kisuke's eyes lit up. He had already figured out who to put in that position. Such a person needed to be cunning and resourceful in dealing with people.
The fox in Las Noches was perfect, and the fact that someone he cared about lived in Soul Society added a layer of constraint to his life. There was simply no one more suitable than him.
"Is that so? That's good." Ashido replied. He was unaware of the current state of Soul Society and chose to follow Urahara Kisuke's arrangements.
"By the way, Inoue -nii, did Aizen tell you anything?" Tsuna asked.
"No, he just asked me to take you in."
"So you mean there's no rush, right? I'll trouble you Inoue- nii-san, to take us to the Palace of the Ninth Espada," Tsuna said.
"Aaroniero? That thing is indeed disgusting, but it's not worth you personally killing it, is it?" Sora Inoue asked, frowning.
Sora Inoue also disliked Aaroniero, but he didn't think it was necessary to waste time on him. He could simply deal with such Arrancar whenever he encountered him.
"Aaroniero is indeed not worth it, but Kaien Shiba is worth the trip; he's Ichigo's Ichigo," Tsuna explained.
"Ichigo's family? Then we really should go."
Sora Inoue nodded in agreement. He was always very tolerant of his brother-in-law, whom he was only a step away from becoming intimate with. He believed that it was Ichigo's existence that prevented Orihime Inoue's life from becoming worse because of his departure.
Speaking of Ichigo, Ichigo was carrying Nel over. Nel was leaning on his shoulder, with tear stains at the corners of her eyes, as if she had fallen asleep.
"What are you saying about me?" Ichigo asked casually, seemingly unfazed by the previous battle.
"Let's talk about your cousin."
"Kaien Shiba?" Ichigo was unsure how to react to his cousin whom he had never met. Out of affection for Kūkaku Shiba and Ganju Shiba, he really wanted to help Kaien Shiba.
"Tsuna, if you can, give it a try, like Mrs. Kuchiki." Ichigo already knew from Rukia that the person constantly hanging around Byakuya's neck was Byakuya's deceased wife, Rukia's older sister.
"Just do your best," Ichigo added. Compared to a dead person he had never met, he didn't want his friend to get hurt because of this.
"Of course," Tsuna affirmed, emphasizing that saving others must be done while ensuring his own safety.
Led by Sora Inoue, the group headed towards Aaroniero's location. Sora Inoue casually pulled out a small notebook and asked a question.
"Ichigo, what's the situation with Nnoitra now?"
Mentioning Nnoitra, Ichigo scratched his head somewhat sheepishly and said, "Well, I accidentally killed him..."
The atmosphere fell silent for a moment. Everyone present knew Ichigo's personality. Although Ichigo had been fierce when he was shouting earlier, Ichigo normal circumstances, he would only beat Nnoitra to a pulp and not easily kill him.
"Nel's decision?" Tsuna asked, looking at the little Arrancar clinging to Ichigo. All he could think of was that after Ichigo defeated his opponent, Nel, the avenger, decided not to spare Nnoitra's life.
However, this doesn't quite match Nel's personality. Nel is timid and cowardly, and wouldn't make such a decision. Big Nel is even more kind-hearted and wouldn't kill someone who has lost the ability to fight.
"No, that Arrancar is quite ruthless. After I defeated him, he asked me to kill him directly, but of course I wouldn't do that."
"He probably recognized Nel. He told me that the wound on Nel was inflicted by him when Nel was unable to resist. He told me that if I wanted revenge, I should give him a taste of his own medicine."
"I was a bit carried away at the time. I thought about how Nel almost died at his hands, so I agreed and stabbed Nel in the head."
"So he was killed by Tensa Zangetsu?" Tsuna asked curiously.
"What? Wouldn't that make it seem like I deliberately killed him?" As the user, Ichigo was well aware that the power of Tensa Zangetsu was not something an Arrancar with no ability to resist could withstand.
"I switched to a smaller sword, exactly the same as Tensa Zangetsu. Logically, that Arrancar should only have the same scar on his head as Nel."
"What I didn't expect was that the moment my blade pierced his forehead, his spiritual pressure collapsed instantly, and he himself vanished in the form of Reishi."
"What bad luck..." Ichigo commented.
In Ichigo's view, that small knife could not possibly have killed Nnoitra. It was clearly Nnoitra's own body that couldn't withstand the damage from the previous battle, yet now they were trying to pin Nnoitra's death on him. Ichigo couldn't stand it no matter how he thought about it.
"Transformed into Reishi..." Among the group, only Tsuna's expression was quite strange. He raised Ichigo, "You didn't use Quincy power, did you? You didn't create Spirit Bow and Arrows like Tensa Zangetsu, did you?"
Ichigo's arrows look very similar to Tensa Zangetsu, except that they are shrunk from a long sword to the length of an ordinary arrow.
"How did you know?" Ichigo was shocked. If he hadn't just sensed Tsuna's changes in spiritual pressure during the battle, he would have suspected that Tsuna had been watching his fight.
Tsuna rubbed his temples, looking a bit annoyed. "After you go back this time, work hard to train your Quincy powers. Your Saint Letters power has already begun to show."
If nothing unexpected happens, it was Ichigo's Saint Letters power, All-Things Exterminator, that killed Nnoitra.
