Multiple Kido
Kenpachi Zaraki was indifferent to Ashido's greeting; in fact, it provided some amusement and helped pass the time.
Kenpachi Zaraki waved his hand without speaking, indicating that Ashido should take over.
Ashido respectfully clenched his fist at Kenpachi Zaraki, then drew his sword and pointed it at Soya Ashirogi. "Draw your sword and let me see what you're capable of to take down Kuruyashiki Kenpachi!"
"Keep it up, Ashi!" Yachiru Kusajishi cheered Ashido on.
After returning to Soul Society, in order to make up for the two hundred years that had passed, Ashido's favorite place to go was the library that recorded the historical events of Soul Society. It was there that he obtained the name of the Eighth Kenpachi, Souya Azashiro, who defeated Kuruyashiki Kenpachi Soya Ashirogi.
"You are no match for me." Soya Ashirogi shook his head at Ashido. He was not a person who liked killing and did not want to commit any more murders.
"Enough with the nonsense! I want to see how you think you can defeat Kuruyashiki Kenpachi, who can't even use his Bankai!"
Ashido slashed at Soya Ashirogi with his knife. After learning that Kuruyashiki had never even used Bankai, he was convinced that Soya Ashirogi's victory was unfair, and he was determined to seek justice for his former friend.
Soya Ashirogi conjured a Reishi from Zanpakuto, blocking Ashido's attack. "In that case, I hope this foreplay has piqued your interest."
Soya Ashirogi's words were always directed at Kenpachi Zaraki. Ashido was right; his battle with Kuruyashiki did not involve a direct clash of Bankai. Instead, he used a clever method to defeat Kuruyashiki Kenpachi.
Soya Ashirogi has always remembered this incident, but at the time he had no choice but to do so for the sake of Kenpachi's name. This time, he doesn't want to take back Kenpachi's name from a Kenpachi who isn't using his full strength, even if this person is someone he looks down on who can't use Bankai, Kenpachi Zaraki.
In order to fulfill Soul King King's request, Soya Ashirogi believed that he needed to have a respectable identity within the Seireitei.
"Heh, let's give it a try then."
With Ikkaku wave of his hand, Kenpachi Zaraki understood immediately and told the other members to leave, clearing the area for the two of them.
"Hey, Yumichika, get moving! What are you standing there for?" Ikkaku said to Yumichika beside him.
"Huh? Oh, coming right now." Yumichika looked somewhat dazed. Just now, his Zanpakuto had contacted him, and this so-called Eighth Kenpachi was no match for him.
Since acknowledging his Zanpakuto, Ruri'iro Kujaku and Yumichika have been interacting more, and Yumichika's strength has been increasing exponentially, even showing a tendency to surpass Ikkaku.
Soya Ashirogi glanced subtly at Yumichika's retreating figure. He knew his weakness might have been discovered, but he had no intention of attacking Yumichika.
Leaving the Seireitei a handle against you makes it easier to find a way to survive within the Seireitei.
Because Soya Ashirogi's Bankai can merge his soul into living or inorganic matter, it is highly likely that his soul will be damaged if he encounters an enemy that can plunder the Soya Ashirogi Reishi.
Yumichika's Ruri'iro Kujaku, which can absorb the opponent's spiritual pressure, is the nemesis of Soya Ashirogi. If he came out this time to cause trouble, he might attack Yumichika first.
This time, Soya Ashirogi here to attack Seireitei, but rather to join this big family. The Ruri'iro Kujaku and such are not worth worrying about.
Here, Ashido's attacks grew increasingly fierce, crimson spiritual pressure emanating from the blade, each strike aimed at Soya Ashirogi's vital points.
In a pure contest of Zanjutsu, Soya Ashirogi has no hope of victory. His Bankai has never been withdrawn since it was released, so his body has not been trained for hundreds of years. In terms of physical strength alone, he is only at the level of an ordinary soul in Rukongai.
After being repeatedly exposed by Ashido's Zanpakuto, Soya Ashirogi left vulnerable, and Ashido seized the opportunity to stab him in the chest.
"Tch, boring." Kenpachi Zaraki commented. He had no interest in killing someone with the strength of Soya Ashirogi back in Rukongai, let alone now that he was a captain.
What was supposed to be a great show turned out to be a complete mess.
Just as Kenpachi Zaraki was about to close his eyes for a nap, two spiritual pressures immediately piqued his interest, and with two whooshing sounds, two figures appeared beside him.
Sawada Tsunayoshi and Unohana Retsu, which dish should they start with?
The fatigue vanished instantly, Kenpachi Zaraki observed the two rare guests with great interest. Or rather, all the captains of Seireitei were rare guests; no one wanted to come forward and be bothered by Kenpachi Zaraki, this warmonger.
"Who wants to stretch their muscles with me?" Kenpachi Zaraki asked, twisting his shoulders.
"Don't rush, your opponent is right there, isn't he?" Tsuna gestured with his chin towards Soya Ashirogi.
"Him?" Kenpachi Zaraki somewhat disdainful. He couldn't even get past Ashido, so why should he take action? Out of trust in Tsuna, he still kept his eyes on the battlefield.
A miraculous scene unfolded: Ashido's Zanpakuto through Soya Ashirogi's body, yet Soya Ashirogi seemed completely unaffected, continuing to slash at Ashido with his sword.
This sudden change forced Ashido to put on Visored and use the power of Hollows to block Soya Ashirogi's attack.
The two clashed briefly before parting ways, this short test prompting both to take the other's strength seriously.
Soya Ashirogi's brow furrowed slightly in displeasure. "Why use Hollow power?"
Although the Soul King forbade him to destroy all the Hollows, it didn't stop Soya Ashirogi from hating the Hollows, the creatures that killed his sister.
While it's somewhat understandable that Hirako Shinji and the others were harmed by Aizen, it's quite unbelievable that Ashido, a Bleach of legitimate Soul Society origin, would use Hollow powers in such a rebellious manner.
"Former member of the Squad 11 Hueco Mundo Expeditionary Force Ashido!" Ashido slowly put on the Antelope Visored. "The power of Hollows is proof of my more than two hundred years of survival in Hueco Mundo!"
The next moment, the crimson slash formed by the Cero was aimed directly at Soya Ashirogi. The instant the attack arrived, Soya Ashirogi suddenly dissipated into countless Reishi, causing Ashido's attack to land on the training ground.
"Is that so?" Soya Ashirogi's understanding was limited to what had happened in the Soul Society over the past two hundred years. He truly knew nothing about Bleach like Ashido, who had been abandoned in Hueco Mundo.
"If it's because I killed Kuruyashiki Kenpachi that you're trapped in Hueco Mundo, I apologize to you." Soya Ashirogi's tone was flat, completely lacking any sincerity.
"Surviving in Hueco Mundo was my choice, you have no need to apologize. Today I wield this sword only to remember my dearest friend, Kuruyashiki!" Ashido turned around, his eyes as bloodshot as a Hollow, "Bankai!"
Spiritual pressure erupted from Ashido, his Zanpakuto completely fused into his body, and white liquid covered and shaped him. In a short while, a monster with a human body and an antelope head appeared before everyone.
Rather than calling him Ashido, he's more like a Hollow resembling an antelope. Having absorbed the spiritual pressure of Hollows for years, Ashido's Sword Release is no longer pure. This is why he's reluctant to use his Zanpakuto release; he doesn't want to see himself become the kind of person he hates.
Now, after a brief exchange with Soya Ashirogi, Ashido realized one thing: his opponent truly had the strength to defeat Kuruyashiki Kenpachi. In order to help Kuruyashiki Kenpachi make a commemorative cut on Soya Ashirogi, Ashido had to use all his power.
Soya Ashirogi turned into one of obvious disgust. "Turning into a ghost will only make me more ruthless towards you!"
Ashido the Roar and attacked Soya Ashirogi. No matter what, as someone who still remembered Kuruyashiki Kenpachi, even leaving a scar on Soya Ashirogi would be considered revenge for his dear friend.
"Bakudo - Million Barriers!"
Soya Ashirogi threw a light stick into the sky, and the light quickly split into thousands and tens of thousands of light sticks in the sky. Nearly ten thousand light sticks fell to the ground. There was no need to aim. Everything in front of Soya Ashirogi was covered!
"Such a powerful instantaneous multi-stage Kido."
Tsuna immediately saw through the trick. Simply put, Soya Ashirogi's attack was a combination of dozens of Hyappo Rankan, not only abandoning the complicated introductory chant but also performing multiple chants simultaneously.
A gifted Kido user can perform dual incantations; for example, Aizen could unleash two Kido simultaneously. However, performing multiple Kido at the same time is not easy unless one has multiple mouths chanting the Kido together.
Soya Ashirogi's attack was clearly nonexistent; he was alone from beginning to end, making it seem more like Quincy fighting. However, while Quincy use Reishi to condense Spirit Bow and Arrows, Soya Ashirogi transformed into Kido.
Soya Ashirogi was unable to unleash so many Kido simultaneously. Although this fighting style had long existed in his mind, according to his plan, he needed the Gigai of the Squad 12 as a tool for chanting so that he could unleash multiple Kido at the same time.
But all of this changed after Tsuna's battle with the Monk; the Soul King was the main reason that made Soya Ashirogi stronger.
Deep within Soya Ashirogi's soul lies a luminous Reishi, brought by the Reishi Soul King during his last visit to him. Like other Bleach, the Soul King harbors potential within their bodies.
Unlike other Bleach who were unable to notice the power the Soul King had buried within their bodies, Soya Ashirogi very clear about the composition of every inch of his soul.
He immediately discovered the foreign object left by the Soul King inside his body. Through contact with this Reishi, Soya Ashirogi discovered that Reishi was promoting the evolution of his power.
In a sense, Soya Ashirogi Bankai, where he combined his Reishi with the Seireitei, can be considered a weakened version of Zanpakuto fusion.
The power bestowed by the Soul King shone brightly within his body, completely breaking through the final barrier Soya Ashirogi using the Kido.
From that moment on, as long as the Reishi of Seireitei are not completely consumed, Soya Ashirogi will remain an ever-burning Kido fortress.
(PS: Originally Soya Ashirogi's Multiple Kido required the help of Gigai to be realized.)
But after thinking about it, I realized that this restriction doesn't quite fit. Soya Ashirogi Bankai with the entire Seireitei's prestige, just like Uryū's Quasi-Vollständig's Reishi affiliation. Soya Ashirogi should also be able to mobilize the Reishi of the entire Seireitei.
Therefore, I used the radiance of the Soul King to erase the above limitations, allowing Soya Ashirogi to truly become a cannon-type Bleach. At least within the Seireitei, he is the strongest master of Kido firepower.
