Gates of Hell
"If the theory of Hell devouring is correct, then the appearance of the Gates of Hell is inevitable," Urahara Kisuke said.
"The theory of Hell devouring everything?" Ichigo and his friends from the World of the Living didn't understand.
"Let me explain." Kyōraku took the initiative to take responsibility. The captains of Soul Society already knew, so explaining it again was a piece of cake for him.
Kyōraku briefly explained that Hell does not belong to the Three Worlds and is not under the jurisdiction of the Soul King. It is speculated that the Soul King may have coveted the Three Worlds Realms since the creation of the world. If Hell is allowed to develop unchecked, it may lead to the collapse of the Three Worlds.
"The world is going to end? What can I do?" Ichigo asked hastily.
"Don't worry, Ichigo, the Soul King is still alive and well. At least as long as he exists, Hell won't be in trouble," Tsuna said.
Tsuna's disrespectful tone towards the Soul King left the others speechless, but considering his origin from another world, they didn't dwell on it. After all, even the Soul King didn't seem to care, right?
"In other words, this incident is our testing and preparation period. The main issue is to figure out how Hell operates." Isshin patted Ichigo on the shoulder and stepped forward to say.
"That's right, Ichigo. If you're going to prepare, then use this time to desperately improve your strength. No matter how we handle Hell, it's never a bad thing if we're stronger," Tsuna added.
Urahara steered the conversation back on track, "So, this time we need to figure out whether the frequent appearances of Hell in the World of the Living are due to the mischief of those Sinners, or whether the will of Hell is driving Sinners to act."
"If it's the latter, then we're in trouble. As soon as Soul King King's power declines, Hell begins to test us. Perhaps we'll suffer an attack from Hell before Soul King is finished."
Urahara could only chuckle wryly at Kyōraku's words. How come there were so many troublesome things after he became the Captain-Commander? And each one of them was world-destroying.
"How should we proceed?" Kyōraku asked Urahara for his opinion; Urahara was the expert when it came to collecting data and information.
Before Urahara could answer, Ukitake's Gigai Communicator rang, signaling an emergency.
"Rukia, what happened?"
After her strength improved rapidly, Rukia Kuchiki became the Vice-Captain of the 13th Division. If it weren't for the fact that she hadn't finished dealing with the matter of offending people, Ukitake might have directly handed over the captain's position to Rukia.
"Captain Ukitake, the Gates of Hell have reopened! Five sinners have emerged from them, and we are currently engaged in battle with them. We need reinforcements!"
Faintly, one could still hear the clanging of metal coming from Rukia's direction. The captains who came to the World of the Living had left their Vice-Captain near where the Gates of Hell had appeared, and now they were coming in handy.
Since Kyōraku hasn't appointed Vice-Captain yet, it's currently five against three with Rukia, Renji, and Rangiku, which is why Rukia called for backup.
"Hold on, we'll be there soon." After covering up the Gigai Communicator, Ukitake asked the others with his eyes.
"This operation involves an investigation inside Hell. The team consists of myself, Sawada Tsunayoshi, Ichigo Kurosaki, and Jūshirō Ukitake. The rest of you, along with the Kidō Corps, are to maintain the opening of the Gates of Hell and ensure our safe return." Without wasting any time, Urahara quickly explained his plan.
No one questioned it; except for Masa and Hae who stayed behind to take care of the child, everyone else headed towards the Gates of Hell.
During their journey, Urahara explained his choice, "This is our first time entering Hell. To ensure safety, those who enter Hell must possess qualities that make them immune to the Chains Hell. Ichigo and Tsuna need no further explanation. Ukitake, you can rely on Mimihagi -sama's power when necessary."
"And my Beyond Bankai can briefly simulate the Soul King King's aura when necessary, so there are only four of us on this mission."
No one questioned whether Urahara Kisuke was a professional at saving the world.
Kyōraku quickened his pace slightly to catch up with Urahara, and he took out a token and handed it to Urahara Kisuke.
"In a crisis, crush it with your spiritual pressure. It will emit a special signal to contact the Kōtetsu Clan," Kyōraku said softly. This was his insurance policy for the group.
"The Kōtetsu Clan?" Urahara Kisuke somewhat surprised; he had never even seen this clan in the Great Spirit Library Corridor.
"The old man said it's a secret passed down orally from the Captain-Commander the Gotei 13." Kyōraku was speechless at this. What oral tradition? There have only been two generations of Captain-Commander.
"They are one of the original Five Great Noble Houses, and now belong to one of the Four Great Noble Clans, the Kitetu Clan."
"Is it that great noble family that's on par with the Four Great Noble Clans and Kuchiki Clan?" Urahara hadn't expected to hear news about this great noble family here.
"That's right, the Kuchiki Clan sets the rules, the Four Great Noble Clans controls the divine weapons, the Tsunayashiro Clan manages the Great Spirit Library Corridor, and the Kitetu Clan's task is to manage Hell!"
"The old man said that, at some point, the Kitetu Clan erased all their records in the Soul Society and cast the entire clan into Hell."
"The only connection between the Seireitei and them is the so-called sacrificial ceremony performed during high-level spirit Konso. This ceremony is essentially a notification to the Kitetu Clan to open the Gates of Hell within Hell."
"Based on your analysis last time, the old man suspects that the Kitetu Clan Clan's entry into Hell was at the behest of the Soul King. For a thousand years, they have been suppressing the development of Hell."
"That plaque is one of the few items from the Kitetu Clan that remained in Seireitei. The journey to Hell is uncertain, so you can call for their support if necessary."
"But! You need to judge for yourself whether someone is friend or foe."
Kyōraku couldn't say anything about that last sentence either. The Seireitei and the Kitetu Clan had very little, if any, communication. No one knew what the Kitetu Clan's attitude was towards the Gotei 13.
"Understood, don't worry, we'll definitely come back safely." Urahara Kisuke put the sign into his pocket.
Kyōraku spoke to Urahara about this privately because Urahara Kisuke was far too cunning; if he entrusted it to Ukitake, it would cause trouble by Ukitake blind trust in him.
Ukitake's recklessness has caused trouble before; his former Vice-Captain Kaien Shiba, was killed because of him. If they had gone to provide support together, Kaien Shiba wouldn't have died at Utsuro's hands.
Soon, they saw the Gates of Hell floating in the air, with double skull gates, and the Sinners fighting Rukia and the others in front of the gates.
Currently, Rukia and her group are at a slight disadvantage. Renji has activated his Bankai and is suppressing two opponents by himself, Rukia and Rangiku are each holding off one opponent. There is also a Sinners is constantly attacking the team members, disrupting Rukia and her group's offensive rhythm.
Ordinary soldiers are no match for the Sinners, forcing Rukia and the others to divert some of their energy to protect the others.
Rangiku secretly regretted that she should have brought the fox along. To free herself, Rangiku only took Gin Ichimaru's Zanpakuto and left it in the office as a tool.
Rangiku is currently enjoying the carefree life of Gin Ichimaru. When she returns to the 10th Division, all she needs to do is stamp the seals and that will be her job done.
If she had known this mission would be so troublesome, she should have brought Gin Ichimaru with her. After all, she was Gin Ichimaru's guardian, so it was normal for Gin Ichimaru to appear wherever Rangiku went.
Unfortunately Rangiku could only feel a little regretful, gritting her teeth and Sinners the attacks. That's right, she could only passively defend herself, as their attacks would be blocked by something invisible to the naked eye.
Hopefully, the captain can provide support soon.
Heaven heard Rangiku's prayer, and from afar, Rangiku heard Ichigo's angry roar.
"Black Blade!!! Give me your life!" Bankai Ichigo, donned the Bull- Visored, and transformed into a streak of black light, charging directly at the gray-haired man whose face was half-covered by a black headscarf, revealing only one eye.
The Getsuga Tensho danced freely in the air, like a black serpent, biting towards the Black Blade.
Black Blade remained completely calm, instead bursting into laughter. "Ichigo, I knew you'd come back!"
As he spoke, he swung the Chains around his body, using them to block in front of him. The energy of Getsuga Tensho made the Chains creak and rattle, further exciting Black Blade.
"Yes, yes, that's it!"
Black Blade completely ignored the power leaking from Getsuga Tensho and impacting him, focusing solely on the Chains, hoping that they would be severed by Ichigo's Chains just as they had been in the depths of Hell.
No matter how the Chains swayed, they were always just a hair's breadth away from breaking. For Black Blade, that hair's breadth was an endless distance. A deep disappointment appeared on his face, and he angrily questioned.
"Hit harder! Slash harder, Ichigo! Aren't you angry? Your sister is dead, dead by my hand!"
Hearing the provocation of the Black Blade, Ichigo's hand trembled uncontrollably. He hadn't used his full strength; he didn't want such a sinner to escape from his grasp.
But Black Blade's words still provoked Ichigo; how could he not be furious when it concerned Yuzu's safety?
"Stay calm, just kill them and get back to the respawn point."
Tsuna's calm words rang out behind Black Blade, Black Blade turned around and saw the Heat and dazzling light behind him.
"XBURNER!"
Black Blade didn't even have time to use Hell Chains to defend himself before he was completely engulfed by XBURNER's power and turned into a lump of fire and water in the high -Flame Pressure environment.
As the ownerless Chains scattered, they were taken back through the Gates of Hell.
These Sinners can fight using their unbreakable Chains, so we can also use Sinners slow speed to attack.
According to Ichigo, this Black Blade is immortal; it will be resurrected in the magma deep underground.
Tsuna didn't care whether Black Blade lived or died, as long as he didn't interfere with their journey to Hell.
(PS: Because the movie was released earlier, in the movie, Ichigo's power to cut the Chains was attributed to the power of the Hollow monster. At that time, Ichigo was still very afraid of Hollows, so he did not dare to use it recklessly. He only used it to cut the Chains when the Black Blade threatened him with Yuzu.)
In reality, we all know that the void is just a kind of power; it is neither scary nor a monster.
Therefore, I attributed Ichigo's ability to cut Chains to the Soul King candidate, which explains why the Sinners was determined to find Ichigo.
