Ichigo, Led into a Trap
Karin's words immediately drew everyone's attention.
"Can you show it to me?" Ryūken asked.
"I can give it a try." Karin left the table, walked a little further away, and then closed her eyes to mobilize the power of the non- Saint Letters within her body.
Reishi gathered in her hand, and white light spots condensed into shape, forming a pair of gloves that were placed on Karin's hands.
"The same power as Tsuna?" Ichigo guessed. In his memory, Tsuna was the only one who would use gloves as weapons.
Ichigo got kicked in the butt. "Idiot, use Quincy's brain! What are those gloves?"
Ichigo carefully examined the area, then said somewhat uncertainly, "This is... the Vollständig?"
"To be precise, it's a half-baked Vollständig, it didn't even trigger the Quincy Cross, it's more like Uryū when he first started learning Saint Letters," Tsuna analyzed.
"That's amazing! Is this Karin's first time Quincy power?" Uryū asked in surprise.
If we disregard combat skills and only consider strength level, Karin now possesses the power that Uryū had when he first invaded Soul Society. This talent is a bit too exaggerated.
"Perhaps it's a talent, Karin. She's been able to see the souls around her since she was very young," Tsuna guessed.
"Really? How come I didn't know that?"
"That's why Karin calls you 'idiot big brother'," Tsuna retorted. Sometimes even he couldn't understand Ichigo's obliviousness.
"Karin, can you sense what the power of your Vollständig is?" Ryūken began taking notes again.
"Hmm? It's nothing, it's just that the speed of compressing the sphere has increased." Karin opened her arms and squeezed them towards her chest, and a Reishi sphere the size of a fist appeared in her palm.
"Such a large Reishi sphere?"
In Ryūken's mind, Karin's Spirit Bow had already leaned towards a slingshot. After all, it's not easy to frequently change the caliber of ammunition for firearms, while a slingshot is much simpler and can be used in both small and large sizes.
Karin continued to exert force until her hands trembled, but she couldn't compress it any further. "This is all I can do for now. Maybe I can compress it even smaller after training."
Looking at the Reishi ball and the half- Vollständig in Karin's hand, Tsuna smiled thoughtfully. "Karin, why don't you try kicking that ball?"
Tsuna's suggestion startled Karin. Looking at the sphere in her hand, her thoughts began to wander. Although the sphere wasn't even the size of a soccer ball yet, couldn't she just compress it with more Reishi?
She continued to compress the Reishi onto the Reishi sphere. Once it reached the size of a soccer ball, Karin flicked her wrist, and the Reishi sphere naturally fell. Just before it touched the ground, Karin kicked it out with all her might.
With a loud bang, it was both the sound of kicking the Reishi ball and the sound of Karin's shoes exploding; ordinary shoes simply couldn't withstand the power of the compressed Reishi.
The Reishi ball kicked away by Karin flew much faster and farther than the small marble before. After a while, everyone heard a loud explosion.
Judging from the rising smoke and dust in the distance, Karin's attack must have been quite powerful.
"Wow, Karin really strong!" Ichigo exclaimed, gazing into the distance. She was already as strong as when he first learned Getsuga Tensho. With some more training from Karin, Ichigo couldn't even imagine how strong she would become.
"Uncle Ryūken, you already have some ideas about developing Karin's abilities, right?" Tsuna asked.
"Yes, the power of the Quasi-Vollständig has already given Karin a basic combat ability. His Reishi ball can attack by throwing or kicking."
"However, there are no corresponding defensive measures for the feet, which means that after a kick, some damage will be inflicted on the user." Ryūken squatted down next to Karin Karin, whose insteps had turned bright red.
"My idea is to put the Spirit Bow aside for now and focus on teaching the Blut Vene and Hirenkyaku as the main teaching directions..." Ryūken's plans are always very detailed.
"I generally agree with Uncle's idea, but I suggest that Karin's future development of her Vollständig could focus on her shoes, which might be simpler," Tsuna said, pointing to Karin's feet.
"Shoes? But the Vollständig isn't like Fullbring; it can't fix the ability you want..." Ryūken wasn't too optimistic about Tsuna's suggestion.
"I just felt that walking on the shoes would allow me to complete the Vollständig training faster." Tsuna asked Karin, "Karin, what were you thinking when you kicked just now?"
Recalling that kick, Karin felt she had tried to use a soccer kicking technique to send the Reishi flying. She answered somewhat uncertainly, "Soccer."
"I also think it's football; your gloves look a lot like a goalkeeper's gloves."
"If your Vollständig truly incorporates your hobbies, then the other half must be a pair of sneakers!"
"Uncle Ryūken, a goalkeeper's gloves are for defense. Karin's gloves might be more than just compressed Reishi. You can test them later. Also, if you have Vollständig in all four limbs, you can increase your close combat training. Then you can ask Tatsuki to help you."
Ryūken continued recording, while Karin sincerely thanked Tsuna. Compared to archery, she was more interested in soccer. Not to mention that her hobby could now be turned into a fighting ability, which was really great.
Just then, Tsuna's phone rang. "Hello? Shopkeeper, you're back in the World of the Living? I'm at the Ishida Residence. Yeah, you guys can come right over, everyone's here."
After hanging up the phone, Tsuna said directly to Uryū, "The manager and a few captains will be coming."
Uryū didn't say much, just nodded and told people to prepare more fruits and food, which was nothing to the large and wealthy Ishida Residence.
"Kisuke is coming? It seems he can't escape his connection to the Gates of Hell." Isshin said, pretending to be deep in thought, gazing into the distance.
"Dad, do you know anything about the Gates of Hell?" Ichigo asked.
"You have the nerve to ask? If you hadn't been misled by strangers, would they have been able to take Karin and Yuzu away?"
Speaking of the Gates of Hell, Isshin gets angry. He went to get medical supplies at the time, and only Masa and his two daughters were at home.
The situation was critical. Masa had just saved Karin. Luckily, Ichigo broke into Hell and brought back Yuzu. Otherwise, he wouldn't know how to punish this wretched creature.
"I also want to know, what exactly happened? How could you so easily trust others, Ichigo?" Tsuna asked curiously. The situation had changed, and he wanted to hear from Ichigo how his version of events differed from what he already knew.
"Perfect timing, we'd like to hear it too." Urahara Kisuke appeared with a few people, followed by Byakuya, Toshiro, and Ukitake, Kyōraku had just become the Captain-Commander.
After exchanging greetings with everyone, when it came time to tell his embarrassing stories, Ichigo blushed and forced himself to recount them.
"Yesterday, the Gates of Hell that hold sinners suddenly appeared in the sky above our school. The gates opened, and several people dressed in black rushed out."
"They started vandalizing the school without saying a word, and of course we wouldn't allow their actions, so we fought them."
"It was a bit strange, though. There were things around them that we couldn't see, which hindered our attacks. Just then, a man called Black Blade came out of Hell and helped us temporarily drive them away."
"According to that man with the Black Blade, they are an evil organization from Hell, constantly trying to disrupt the world. His sister died because of them, so he has been trying to stop these villains."
"It's a bit too classic," Tsuna commented.
"But if it's Kurosaki-kun, it's definitely easy to believe him," Urahara Kisuke nodded. "He looks so gullible."
"Damn it! Are you guys even listening to me?!" Ichigo was furious and embarrassed.
"Actually, it's pretty much the same. That Black Blade is in cahoots with another group. They can use a diversionary tactic to make you lower your guard about your family, and then kidnap them," Tsuna guessed.
"How did you know?" Ichigo was dumbfounded.
"It's a very common formula; I don't even write my novels like that anymore."
Ichigo was stabbed by Tsuna again, and then heard Tsuna's question, "So, why did they go to such lengths to lure you into Hell?"
"Chains, the kind of Hell Chains that bound the Yuzu before." Ichigo stopped joking. "They are the Sinners of Hell, and they want to use me to break the Chains of Hell so they can Hell."
"Sinners who has committed a grave mistake and has been forcibly taken into Hell, bound by Hell Chains, with no hope of life or death, and never able to escape," Urahara Kisuke added.
"Why you? Or rather, what makes them think you can break the Chains?"
"That Black Blade said," Ichigo recalled, "That he saw me fighting a purple-haired woman when he was in Hell. The shockwaves from the fight made their Chains tremble, and from that day on, they began plotting against me."
Tsuna and Urahara exchanged a glance. The purple-haired woman was undoubtedly Yachiru Unohana; that battle had just ended not long ago.
At that time Tsuna and the Monk frequently unleashed their power, causing instability in the world. Perhaps it was at that moment that Sinners realized the hope of escaping Hell.
"I'm sorry, Ichigo, it seems this isn't entirely your fault. It was probably caused by my fight with the Monk."
Tsuna explained it this way, the others immediately realized that it was just a coincidence that the Sinners saw Ichigo fighting; they hadn't actually seen the real protagonist.
"I'm curious, Ichigo Kurosaki, can your power really cut through the Chains?" Ryūken asked. During his experiments, none of the four powers had any effect on Yuzu's Chains.
"Yes, I once broke one of their Chains and, in their ecstasy, led my wandering Yuzu back."
Ichigo, thinking that Ryūken had misunderstood him and refused to perform surgery on Yuzu, quickly explained.
"Uncle Ryūken, it's not that I don't want to deal with Yuzu's Chains, it's just that the Chains on Yuzu are too short. Even a slight glint of my blade could kill her..."
No one was listening to Ichigo's explanation; they were all pondering why Ichigo was able to cut the Chains. And since the Monk's battle had just ended, everyone knew the reason for the fight.
All eyes gradually focused on Tsuna and Ichigo.
A flash of realization crossed Urahara Kisuke's eyes. "It seems the key to severing the Chains Hell lies in the power of the Soul King."
Ichigo Kurosaki, Soul King candidate; Sawada Tsunayoshi, same as above.
