The Shattered World
"Thank you very much for your support." Sullivan and Bruno bowed deeply to Tsuna together.
Tsuna his hand dismissively, "This is a global crisis that no one can escape. More important than that, I'll close this rift first."
A golden light flashed in Tsuna's eyes, and with a soft shout, a skull armor half-shining with golden light appeared on his body, "Hell Derivation."
Seeing Tsuna in this form, Sullivan and Bruno finally believed that Tsuna had been to Hell.
Tsuna raised his hand and made a grasping motion towards the rift. As his palm slowly closed, the rift connecting to Hell was completely shut down.
"Continue to send some ordinary Magicians to guard the area; there shouldn't be any problems. More importantly, I suggest that you, as team leaders, hold a meeting with the East Bureau."
"I'm already in contact with Urahara Kisuke and Captain-Commander Kyōraku," Toshiro added. "Once your West Bureau team is all assembled, we can begin."
Just as Tsuna and his group returned to the western outskirts of London, his cell phone rang. The caller was Kisuke Urahara.
"Manager, what can I do for you?"
Upon pressing the call button, Urahara Kisuke's anxious and serious expression appeared on the screen. "Something terrible has happened! Hell has begun to contact the Three Worlds!"
"I know that. I just sealed a rift connecting to Hell at the West Bureau." Tsuna seemed relatively calm. This news was originally relayed to Toshiro by Urahara Kisuke.
"It's not just the cracks in the West Bureau. After Hitsugaya reminded me, I checked the amount of Resentment in the Three Worlds, and the Resentment has increased significantly compared to the past."
"From our perspective in the Department of Research and Development, there are at least eleven anomalies of Resentment in the Three Worlds. If nothing unexpected happens, these places are very likely to have also seen the rift you encountered."
"Furthermore, the magnitude of the Resentment is constantly increasing. If this continues, the number of cracks is likely to increase, and the entire world will become fragmented!"
As soon as Urahara Kisuke finished speaking, Sullivan added, "Could you send us the relevant coordinates? The West Bureau will send people to guard the nearest locations, as monsters from Hell might use these locations to enter our world."
"The data has been shared with the Development Squad, and our Patrol Squad is heading to these locations. They will eliminate the visitors from Hell as soon as possible," Urahara Kisuke explained their response.
"Please be very careful, the monsters of Hell are no less powerful than I am," Sullivan said solemnly.
"Thank you for the reminder, Captain Sullivan." Urahara's gloomy expression remained.
"Does Kyōraku know about this?" Tsuna asked. So far, all he'd heard about was how Urahara was handling it, bypassing the Gotei 13.
"I know. The current Gotei 13 personnel are under my command, with Old Man Yamamoto in charge. As for Captain-Commander Kyōraku ..." Urahara Kisuke stated a somber fact, "He went to the Soul King Palace, and a Hell rift has appeared on the outskirts of the Soul King Palace as well."
Is it a coincidence? In Tsuna, it seems more like a provocation, a provocation from Hell against Adonais, the Soul King, the fulcrum of the Three Worlds.
"Tsuna, we need your help now. We need your Night Flame to save us travel time." When it came to serious matters, Urahara's face showed no trace of frivolity.
"Understood, Captain Sullivan. Go back and tell Captain Wolfgang to prepare. Intelligence from the West Bureau should be shared in real time. All Captain-level should be ready to act at any moment. A great crisis that threatens the Three Worlds is about to arrive!"
After leaving a message, Tsuna opened a wormhole in front of him, left a message for Tatsuki on his phone, and then walked straight in.
With a shift in perspective, passing through a wormhole, Tsuna found himself in a large hall filled with sophisticated equipment, Urahara Kisuke was closing his call.
Returning to the East Bureau Department of Research and Development, a matter concerning Hell and the Three Worlds, Tsuna has no choice but to return to Soul Society.
As for Toshiro, Tsuna didn't bring him back. The West Bureau is relatively weak, and having him stay there to guard the area can be of some help. If needed, Tsuna can bring people over at any time.
"You're back just in time." Urahara Kisuke beckoned Tsuna over and pointed to the eleven locations on the screen, saying, "Besides the location at the Soul King Palace, there are ten other locations scattered throughout the Three Worlds. The Patrol Squad is heading to the Department of Research and Development. What you need to do is teleport them to the nearest location to shorten their travel time."
Tsuna carefully examined the ten locations that Urahara Kisuke had mentioned. These locations were scattered across the World of the Living, Hueco Mundo, Soul Society, and even the West, which they had just returned from, had been allocated three locations.
There are some locations that even Tsuna hasn't been to, and Night Flame can't reach them directly, but opening the nearest location shouldn't be a problem.
A series of rapid footsteps sounded behind them. Hirako Shinji led the way, followed by all the captains who had mastered techniques Beyond Bankai. Their Shinigami Uniform had also changed, with more armor-like features on their shoulders and chests. Sajin Komamura, for example, was still adjusting his armor, feeling a little uncomfortable after just putting it on.
This armor was developed by Urahara Kisuke and Kurotsuchi Mayuri based on Tsuna and Ichigo's Hell Derivation Forms. It has the function of blocking Resentment and will not be affected by the Hell Miasma when fighting Hell creatures.
"What a rare guest! What brings you here?" Hirako still had that same flippant and playful demeanor.
"I've come to open a teleportation point for you, so you don't have to rush." Tsuna, completely unaffected by Hirako, said with his dead fish eyes.
"Attention all Patrol Squad members," Urahara Kisuke said, pointing to Nemu Kurotsuchi, who was handing out palm-sized capsules. "The tools you're receiving now are for sealing the Hell Rift."
"Once everyone is certain that there are no Hell creatures around the Hell Rift, place the capsule in front of the rift and detonate it with spiritual pressure. The substance inside the capsule will then seal the rift."
"This mission has two objectives: eliminate any potential Hell creatures and seal the Hell rift."
Urahara Kisuke didn't give any pre-battle pep talk. These guys were all seasoned veterans who understood the seriousness of the situation. He turned to Tsuna, "Activate the impulse to teleport."
The captain's portrait immediately appeared on the screen for each location. The stronger the captain, the farther away they were from Seireitei, and the greater the risks they would have to bear.
Tsuna nodded, waved his hand, and seven wormholes appeared precisely next to the corresponding people. Without any doubt, the chosen captain stepped into one of them.
The Patrol Squad members who received the mission disappeared through the wormhole. Tsuna opened another wormhole leading to the West Bureau and threw in the three sets of armor that Urahara had prepared. The three locations in the west will be cleared by Toshiro in cooperation with the West Bureau.
"Manager, is this thing of yours reliable?" Tsuna, fiddling with the capsule used to seal the crack.
"Unreliable." Urahara didn't hesitate at all. "This thing is essentially a special spider web structure. It can be used to temporarily seal cracks, but the fundamental nature of the cracks remains unchanged."
"Do you think everyone is like you and Ichigo, able to gain favor from Hell?" The one who truly completed the sealing was the crack that Tsuna dealt with at the West Bureau.
"Ten cracks? I can manage with a bit more running around." For Tsuna, who possesses the Night Flame, travel is not a difficult task.
"It's meaningless, Tsuna." Urahara tapped the keyboard, and the screen displayed a large circle containing three smaller circles, with the words "World of the Living," "Hueco Mundo," and "Soul Society" written inside the smaller circles respectively.
If this outer layer was a protective membrane set up by Soul King to protect the Three Worlds, now this membrane is getting thinner and thinner, giving outside energy a chance to penetrate.
As Urahara spoke, the scene shifted, and wisps of dark red energy seeped into the protective barrier set up by the Soul King.
"I don't deny that your Hell power can forcibly close the rift, but Soul King's power has reached its limit. It's like a forbidden skin; the rift you seal here will open elsewhere."
"The number of cracks cannot be reduced; instead, it will gradually increase until the protective membrane guarding the world shatters."
"Shutting things down is pointless. The only thing we can do is temporarily blockade. The problem lies with one person..." Urahara looked up, as if he could see a palace high in the sky. "Soul King."
"Aizen, Kurenai, and I have been researching ways to compensate for Soul King King's power, but Soul King King's power is like an unstoppable funnel, constantly leaking away with the passage of time."
"Blocking the rift now is merely buying time; we must do everything in our power to find a way for the Three Worlds to survive."
Urahara Kisuke utterly helpless; his mental exhaustion these past few days was impossible to hide, a result of countless failed experiments yielding the same outcome.
"The Soul King..."
Tsuna knew that after his battle with the Monk, the Soul King forcibly released his power to stabilize the Three Worlds so that everyone could use power Beyond Bankai. Perhaps it was because of this release of power that Hell forcibly skipped the twelve-year hiatus and began its invasion of the Three Worlds.
Mentioning this name, as if sensing something, Tsuna also raised his head, his eyes piercing through countless obstacles to see the person sealed in crystal high in the sky.
The man's pupils were looking downwards, meeting Tsuna's gaze directly!
Is the Soul King looking for him?
The thought flashed through Tsuna's mind. It seemed the situation was more serious than he had imagined; he had to go to the Soul King Palace.
"Shopkeeper, the Soul King might be looking for me. I'm going to the Soul King Palace."
"Soul King?" Urahara Kisuke's brows furrowed even deeper. "Has the situation really come to this? You should go quickly; I'll make more preparations here."
Urahara Kisuke immediately instructed the staff of the Department of Research and Development to prepare various tools, regardless of whether they would be used or not.
Tsuna didn't linger long. Black flames unfolded before him, and on the other side of the wormhole was the Omotesandō the Soul King Palace.
