Chapter Summaries

Tsuna’s group launched a coordinated assault on Las Noches, assigning the Vice-Captains to confront the remaining Espada while Tsuna stayed concealed. The battles began across the palace, and Gin Ichimaru found Stark as the chapter ended.

• Sora Inoue gave Tsuna six devices that tracked the remaining Espada, and Tsuna distributed them among the fighters.
• Tsuna concealed himself and Sora Inoue while the Vice-Captains provoked Las Noches and Barragan led his followers out to meet them.
• Rangiku ordered the fighters to scatter, with Shiba holding off Barragan’s Arrancar, Shūhei and Yumichika facing Barragan, and Ikkaku challenging Grimmjow.
• Renji attacked Ulquiorra while Omaeda, Hiyori, and Izuru Kira engaged Yammy.
• Rukia attacked Halibel at the women’s palace, while Isane faced Halibel’s three Fracción.

Tetsuzōzaemon Iba used his Bankai to trap Barragan’s Arrancar in a moonlit city and hunted them with his motorcycle and baseball bat. After Wheel Iron Swallow and the Baron of Storms encircled him, Iba charged into battle while Tsuna trusted the domain to keep him alive and worried about the fighters outside it.

• Iba activated his Bankai, Yakuza Star: Roaring Enforcer, and challenged the Arrancar to race him through the city.
• Iba smashed Volcano Beast’s head, then escaped the surrounding Arrancar on his motorcycle and picked off isolated enemies as he raced through the streets.
• Iba ambushed Wheel Iron Swallow on the tallest building, crushed her with his motorcycle, and broke one of her wings before attacking her with both weapons.
• The Baron of Storms brought the surviving Arrancar to the rooftop and encircled Iba, who charged at him to try to turn the fight around.
• Tsuna told Sora Inoue that Iba’s domain would dissolve before he could die, then voiced greater concern for the others fighting outside it.

Omaeda, Hiyori, and Yoshika fought the Resurrección Yammy with their Bankai abilities, weakening and pinning him as they prepared a decisive strike. Omaeda poured his fortune into Gogyo Head and launched his all-in attack at the immobilized Yammy.

• Yammy activated Resurrección and grew into a towering beast, while Omaeda rescued Hiyori from his attacks.
• Hiyori activated Bankai and struck Yammy repeatedly as Omaeda used Gogyo Head to earn spiritual pressure and Yoshika’s Bankai weighed Yammy down with his sins.
• Yoshika’s judgment and Hiyori’s Armor Break let her wound Yammy, and she charged Hyakusatsu until Kubi Orochi gained Bone Break.
• Hiyori severed one of Yammy’s legs, and Yoshika’s Shared Burden slammed him to the ground under the weight of his sins.

Ikkaku fought Grimmjow in Las Noches, revealing his Bankai, Dragon Blood Hozukimaru, and its ability to heal his wounds. After defeating Grimmjow, Ikkaku left him alive because his mission was to reclaim Las Noches, not kill anyone.

• Ikkaku challenged Grimmjow alone, activated Bankai, and revealed Dragon Blood Hozukimaru.
• Grimmjow released Pantera and pressured Ikkaku, but Ikkaku bound him with blood aura and struck him with a powerful blow.
• Grimmjow discovered Hozukimaru’s apparent weakness and shattered two axe blades, but Ikkaku used the fragments and blood dragons to attack him.
• As they exchanged wounds, Hozukimaru’s blood healed Ikkaku, weakening Grimmjow’s momentum until Ikkaku defeated him and severed three of his limbs.
• Grimmjow asked why Ikkaku would not kill him, and Ikkaku said his mission was to reclaim Las Noches, not kill anyone.

Renji challenged Ulquiorra to a full-strength fight, hoping to test his new Bankai and offer Ulquiorra a new purpose. After surviving Renji’s strongest attack through High-Speed Regeneration, Ulquiorra retreated to long range, and Renji launched Serpent Skull Roar at him.

• Renji confronted Ulquiorra and provoked him into fighting at full strength by promising to help him find a new goal.
• Ulquiorra released his Second Release, while Renji activated Bankai: Double King Zabimaru, empowered by the Baboon King and Snake King.
• Ulquiorra’s Lightning spear damaged Renji’s Baboon King, but Renji used its flexible blade and immense strength to strike back and restrain Ulquiorra with Baboon Fur Rebirth.
• Renji unleashed Shatetsu no Teppou, but Ulquiorra survived by using High-Speed Regeneration to protect his organs.
• Ulquiorra switched to long-range attacks, so Renji swung the Great Snake King as a flaming meteor and hurled it at him with Serpent Skull Roar.

Rukia and Isane fought Halibel and her Fracción, combining Rukia’s devastating Bankai with Isane’s restorative and defensive Bankai to keep Rukia in the battle. Rukia stopped Halibel from reaching the defeated Fracción and insisted that their duel continue.

• Mila, Sunsun, and the third Fracción combined their powers into Yao, but Rukia released Hakkaa no Togame and destroyed Yao along with the palace.
• Halibel used Resurrección and attacked Rukia and Isane, while Rukia and Isane coordinated their ice abilities to withstand her techniques.
• Halibel noticed Rukia’s body repeatedly cracking, then realized Isane’s Bankai, Freezing Cloud: Frost Heaven Rotation, was healing her through a bandage linking them.

• Gin Ichimaru declared that the Arrancar in Las Noches had to submit or die, and Stark transformed Lilynette into his pistols and attacked him.
• Rangiku Matsumoto used her Bankai to fill the palace with gray sand and nearly lulled Stark to sleep before Lilynette helped him escape the haze.

• Yamamoto’s Melting Double Bone attack turned the Wandenreich into a sea of lava, while Tsuna’s flames protected Bazz-B and Yhwach survived badly injured.

• Ishida Ryūken operated on Bazz-B, and Tsuna and Urahara discussed harassing the Quincy and coordinating with Hueco Mundo.
• Bazz-B recovered, learned his Vollständig enhancement had disappeared, and agreed to become a combat assistant instructor after Tsuna mentioned Yamamoto could guide his fire techniques.

• Stark, Nel, and Halibel arrived to find the Arrancars defeated and attacked Quilge and the Hueco Mundo Hunting Team.
