Background / History

Liu Xuan is Liu Xingyuan's daughter and Liu Li's older sister. Though both sisters held L-level research ranks at the Red Fruit Weapons Research Institute, Liu Xuan's family status gave her access to a central laboratory and authority far exceeding that of ordinary researchers. Lin Qi had known her for five years by the time the story began. 5

Years earlier, Liu Xuan designed and operated an experimental instrument intended to pry open the core of a human Spiritual Sea. The experiment failed, generating a Mental Power storm that incapacitated her. Lin Qi entered the storm, shut down the machine, and saved her. 345
