Background

Lin Qi became a Wizard on a rainy night in his youth, when an old Wizard being pursued gave him an Analyzed Object. Absorbing it made him a First Rank Wizard and awakened Psychic Vision. He later recognized that the old Wizard had been Lin Changshou in disguise, meaning his foundational ability had likely been deliberately selected for him. 2 386 453

Before openly entering the extraordinary world, Lin Qi completed ordinary citizens’ standard education by eighteen and joined Liu Heavy Industries’ Weapon Research Institute as a researcher. His disciplined study habits and covert Wizard abilities helped him advance quickly; after entering Liu Clan Academy, he became an L-level cybernetic engineering researcher within a year. 2 345

He travels between the Cyber World and a parallel Doomsday World, where Spiritual Energy Particles are roughly ten times more concentrated. A day of meditation there can approach half a month’s progress in the Cyber World, making the ruined world central to his rapid advancement. 3
