Background / History
Ai's research and check-in missions are initially driven in part by the possibility of resurrecting her sister, Miyano Akemi. She treats an identity card reward as a safeguard for Akemi's future life 1.
After gaining Item Creation, Ai begins supplying equipment to other System Network members. She offers to make a weapon and Magic Crest for Busujima Saeko, and her work with rare materials establishes her as a source of specialized items 8 17. She later develops potions that stabilize Gastrea-virus erosion in Cursed Children, saving many before Loki's arrival 115.
Ai eventually confronts Gin alongside Chu Chen and kills him with her Authority. She also receives the Miyano Shiho character template, giving her another way to assume her adult form 104. Later, she summons Assassin-class Jack the Ripper, who calls her “Mommy” 190 191.

Ai normally remains in a child's body, although she is eighteen. She can also appear as Miyano Shiho through her character template 3 104 198.
