Zheng Zetian was recovered from the Void Abyss by Song Dayou, carrying the Precious Scroll of the Immovable Mount Tai's Deep Roots and Results on his arm. Song recognized his extraordinary fate and accepted him into Ink Bamboo Mountain's Qingting Peak lineage. 570

His apparent simplicity initially concealed an unusual origin: he is a supreme Dao Son protected by Empty Star Heavenly Dao, personally appointed by the Transmigrating Dao Lord, and the reincarnation of Ancestor Luo. At the beginning of this life, however, he possessed only his former consciousness and personality rather than his full inheritance. 573

During an expedition inside the demonic train's digestive tract, Zheng Zetian was killed by an unknown attacker. A purple Daoist robe then introduced him to a spacetime-reversal Great Dao, allowing him to return to the past while retaining his experiences.
