Jiang Xinglan is the daughter of Jiang Changhai, the Provincial Governor of Chujiang Province. Her mother is from the influential Jun Family of Outer Domain Star City, leaving the Jiang Family socially inferior to her maternal relatives despite its extensive wealth and political standing. 68 70
