Everyone came to their senses. There had been no movement from Chopper's side for so long. That was clearly abnormal.
"What happened to Chopper?" Luffy asked in confusion. "Wasn't he treating those people in the medical room just now?"
"I don't know, but there being no sound for so long means something's wrong," Usopp said.
Who knew whether someone had attacked Chopper?
"Chopper isn't weak," Xi Yan said calmly. "Besides, there was only one child with him at the time."
Whether that child could even beat Merry was another question, let alone pose a threat to Chopper.
Once Chopper went berserk, his destructive power was terrifying.
"Let's go take a look."
Zoro stopped butting heads with Sanji, grabbed his weapons, and rushed out.
However, Zoro quickly ran back.
"Chopper isn't in the infirmary."
"You found the infirmary that fast?" Sanji asked in surprise.
"Bastard, what do you mean by that?"
Seeing the two about to start fighting again, Xi Yan hurriedly said, "I think Chopper probably went to their ship."
"You mean..." Nico Robin seemed to realize something. "The captain of the Phoenix Pirates?"
"Yes, him."
That cone-headed man had indeed mentioned their captain earlier. Maybe Chopper had gone to treat that guy.
Chopper was so kind. If that child had told him about it, Chopper might really have run over to save someone.
"That kid should've at least told us before doing something like this," Zoro said with a frown.
Treating illnesses and saving people was Chopper's guiding principle as a doctor, and Zoro chose to respect that.
But when dealing with strangers, kindness depended on the situation. At the very least, Chopper should fulfill his duties as a doctor while the rest of them were present.
Otherwise, who knew what might happen?
