Percy's eyes widened in shock at the news. After a long moment, he finally realized what was going on. "I see. So the Chamber of Secrets is real, but the professors arranged everything from the very beginning?"

Percy was no fool. From Harry's account and the details of recent events, he quickly connected the dots and realized Anduin was behind it.

"We thought so too." Hermione nodded slightly. "That would mean the Basilisk may already be under Professor Wilson's control, and the danger it poses has been greatly reduced. Otherwise, there'd be no reason for the professor to be so confident about us digging into the Chamber's secrets."

"That makes sense." Percy agreed with Hermione's assessment. "And besides Professor Wilson, I suspect Professors McGonagall and Snape are in on it too. Looks like they've been playing us all for fools."
