Background / History

Gu Yuena fled from the God Realm to Douluo Continent after the Dragon God conflict, bringing divine power that contributed to the birth of the Soul Beast race. She explains that the God Realm later imposed rules hostile to Soul Beasts, including the requirement for human Soul Masters to hunt Soul Beasts for advancement and the hundred-thousand-year Heavenly Tribulation. 26

Known initially only as the Silver Dragon King, she accepts the name Gu Yuena from Ye Liangchen and begins calling him “Little Chen.” Recognizing their shared opposition to the God Realm's treatment of Soul Beasts, she chooses to support his growth. 26
