Daedalus Street truly deserved to be called the labyrinth district. Even high-level adventurers who made a point of memorizing its routes would end up lost unless they left markers or followed the signs.
Leo and his companions wandered into increasingly secluded areas, their route growing so long and convoluted that eventually none of the four recognized the streets, much less knew where they were.
"I... I can't do this anymore..."
Lefiya was already dizzy, tears gathering in the corners of her eyes. At some point, the route map she was drawing had become a tangled mess, and she was on the verge of crying.
"How can the streets be this complicated? Even the Dungeon doesn't have mazes this confusing!"
Lefiya Viridis sounded ready to burst into tears.
She was not entirely right. Some of the Dungeon's labyrinths were genuinely complex, especially in the deep floors, where the terrain grew broader and broader until it formed mazes of unimaginable complexity.
There were two reasons Lefiya Viridis found this place more confusing than the Dungeon. First, generations of adventurers had explored the Dungeon's mazes. Even where the terrain had not been fully mapped, they had established the main routes to the next floor and drawn detailed maps, so adventurers capable of reaching those places rarely got lost. Second, this was their first time exploring Daedalus Street, and they were deliberately heading into its most secluded corners. Naturally, that made it difficult to get their bearings.
Had they followed the signs from the beginning, their chances of getting lost would have been quite low.
Still, there was no denying that Daedalus Street was hard to navigate, or that they were now lost.
Even Ais cast a pleading look at Leo, silently asking what they should do next.
"It's fine. Let's keep going and
