In a daze, Naruto climbed up from the snow and stared blankly at Hanfu, Hinata, and Sakura, who was still gazing wistfully at Sasuke's retreating figure a short distance away.
"Oh no, Naruto's brain must've been kicked loose." Hanfu hurried over to check him.
Hinata was frightened, too. She watched him anxiously. "Naruto, Naruto, are you okay? Can you hear me? Do you remember what just happened?"
"Teacher Hanfu, um... wait a second."
Naruto resisted Hanfu's examination, batting his hands aside. Then, in the next instant, he suddenly remembered what had just happened and shouted, "I remember! That guy Sasuke... Huh? Where is he?"
Hanfu finished his examination and, reassured that Naruto was fine, said, "He ran off after showing off."
"Damn it! Sasuke, you bastard!"
Naruto fumed by himself for a while, then looked confused. "Teacher Hanfu, I clearly beat Sasuke. Why did he suddenly get stronger at the end? Was he really holding back his strength from the start?"
"Of course not. He suddenly got stronger because you provoked him and made him awaken his Sharingan."
Hanfu lectured him sagely. "Naruto, if you hadn't talked so much and had just focused on the job—knocked Sasuke out right away—he wouldn't have awakened his Sharingan and turned the tables. So remember this: villains die because they talk too much."
Naruto nodded in a daze, then latched onto the key point. "Teacher Hanfu, am I a villain?"
"The same principle applies to heroes," Hanfu said irritably.
