After leaving the Anbu Building, Shisui didn't go home to rest. Instead, he hurried back to the Konoha Military Police Force Building to continue drawing up next month's patrol schedule.

"Captain Shisui, what happened to your left hand?" The Uchiha ninja who had delivered the message earlier caught sight of Shisui's left hand and went deathly pale. With his persecution complex, he instantly imagined dozens of horrific tragedies!

Tragedy 1: The Fourth Hokage planned to dissect Shisui for research. Shisui fought back and injured his left hand.

Tragedy 2: The Fourth Hokage planned to move against the Uchiha Clan. Shisui fought back with all his might and injured his left hand.

Tragedy 3: The Fourth Hokage planned to take Shisui's Sharingan. Shisui refused to give in and fought back, injuring his left hand.

Tragedy 4...

Horrifying scenes flashed through the Uchiha ninja's mind, so quickly that he barely heard Shisui's own explanation.

Fuming, the Uchiha ninja left the Konoha Military Police Force Building. At last, unable to contain his fear, he hurried to the Hokage Building...or rather, the Office Building next door, where he found the Uchiha Clan Head, Fugaku Uchiha.

"Clan Head Lord!" The Uchiha ninja knocked and entered, sweat beading on his forehead. "Something terrible has happened!"

"Call me Advisor."

Fugaku Uchiha glared at him in displeasure, then slowly set down the documents in his hand. "What happened?"

"It's like this, Clan Head Lord. The Fourth Hokage summoned Captain Shisui to the Anbu today. When he returned, I saw that his left hand was wrapped in bandages, and I smelled blood. I suspect this is a sign that the Fourth Hokage is about to move against the Uchiha Clan!" The Uchiha ninja immediately gave him an embellished account of what had happened.

Fugaku Uchiha asked, "What did Shisui
