Konoha Military Police Force Building.

Shisui, now wearing glasses, was in his office drawing up the Patrol Schedule for the coming month.

Ever since he had joined the Konoha Military Police Force, the Uchiha Clan ninjas in the unit had gathered under his leadership of their own accord, hoping to hold their own against Kakashi and the ordinary recruits he had brought in.

Unfortunately, Shisui was a heartless turncoat, so their hopes were doomed to come to nothing.

As it happened, Shisui was planning to have the Uchiha and ordinary members patrol in mixed teams, so they could get to know one another better and put their differences behind them.

As for the protests from his subordinates, Shisui could pin the decision on Kakashi and say it was Kakashi's arrangement. That way, he could continue leading the Uchiha members while trading snide remarks with Kakashi in perfect harmony.

Knock, knock, knock.

A knock came from outside the office.

"Come in." Shisui pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose and looked up.

"Deputy Captain Shisui, someone from Anbu is here. They said Lord Hokage wants to see you at the Anbu Building." The visitor was a member of the Uchiha Clan.

"Got it." Shisui immediately stood up.

"Deputy Captain Shisui, could this be a trap?" The Uchiha ninja looked worried.

Shisui sighed softly. Even though Clan Head Fugaku had already become an Advisor to the village, the clan's so-called "elite" couldn't help worrying that the Fourth Hokage was going to move against them.

Their persecution complex sometimes left Shisui utterly exhausted, almost unable to breathe.

"Don't worry. It'll be fine." Shisui smiled reassuringly, then quickly left.

Half an hour later, at the Anbu Building.

After arriving, Shisui was taken to a concealed room.

Shisui had served in Anbu
