"Orochimaru?!"
At the sound of that familiar, chilling voice, Hanfu was taken aback.
He'd assumed Orochimaru would appear wearing the Fourth Kazekage's face, as in the Original Work. He hadn't expected the 'Beautiful Snake'!
He'd almost made the mistake of relying on past experience and wrongfully suspecting the Fourth Kazekage.
"Orochimaru, you really did come."
Namikaze Minato sat perfectly still, as steady as a mountain. His azure eyes calmly watched the One-Tail Shukaku roaring skyward in the center of the arena, as if he, the Yellow Flash, had never taken Orochimaru seriously.
Orochimaru wasn't offended. He gave a sinister smile. "So, do you like the present I brought you, Lord Fourth Hokage?"
"I'd advise you to surrender," Namikaze Minato sighed.
Orochimaru grinned. "Don't be in such a hurry. The tailed beast before you isn't the only present I brought!"
As soon as he finished speaking, a string of violent explosions echoed from far across Konoha.
The Mist Ninja, Sunagakure Ninja, and Oto Ninja who had entered with the competing teams were causing chaos!
In just a few breaths, smoke billowed and flames soared across Konoha. The panicked screams of countless civilians rang out one after another!
Boom, boom, boom...
At the same time, outside Konoha, three armies made up of Mist Ninja, Sunagakure Ninja, and Oto Ninja burst from the forest with a roar. They rained Five-Element Ninjutsu and Explosive Tags on the towering walls surrounding the village as if they were free!
Then the sky darkened. Everyone looked up in horror to see a colossal structure hanging in midair, blotting out the sun and casting its shadow over nearly half of Konoha. It was like an enormous Floating Island; if it fell, it could destroy half the village!
"Today is the day Konoha falls!"
"Take revenge for Lord Shennong!"
