Facing the ninjutsu attacks of hundreds of Konoha Ninja, Deva Path Pain casually waved his hand.

A violent repulsive force surged forward like an impenetrable wall, instantly suppressing all the incoming Five-Element Ninjutsu!

Most of the Konoha Ninja looked utterly stunned when they saw this.
Shikaku Nara and Taka exchanged glances, their hearts sinking.
The Rinnegan's abilities were far too powerful and seemingly impossible to counter. No matter how many ordinary ninja there were, they were no match for it.
Perhaps the Uchiha Clan's Mangekyō Sharingan could resist it somewhat... Shikaku Nara pondered.
"Deidara, Sasori, I'll leave this to you." Deva Path Pain gave the order calmly, then turned and continued toward the Anbu Building.
The other five Paths of Pain followed close behind.
"You're making us deal with all these Konoha Ninja? What a pain, hm." Deidara complained as he excitedly eyed the Konoha Ninja behind him. Then, with an eager grin, he pulled a thumb-sized owl made of Explosive Clay from his pocket.

When the smoke cleared, the thumb-sized owl had grown dozens of times larger. Deidara climbed onto it and shot straight into the sky, leaving Sasori of the Red Sands standing alone.
Sasori of the Red Sands glanced up at Deidara, then lowered his gaze to the hundreds of Konoha Ninja rapidly approaching him.
"Looks like it's time to bring out my collection." Sasori of the Red Sands climbed out of Hiruko, quickly took out two scrolls, and formed Hand Seals. "Release!"
Poof!
A cloud of smoke burst from one of the scrolls, and a man in tattered black robes emerged, floating in the air.
"Wait!"
Taka's expression suddenly changed. "That Puppet..."
