Three-Tails Isobu galloped along on its thick legs, occasionally turning its tortoise-like head to look behind. A hint of confusion showed in its single eye.
Wasn't I supposed to draw the enemy's attention because they'd invaded?
Why wasn't anyone chasing me?
Three-Tails was quite displeased.
"Caw!"
Just then, a sharp cry rang out from high above.
Three-Tails looked up and saw a monstrous giant bird diving down with a flap of its wings.
On its back, two humans in Akatsuki Cloaks looked down at it.
"So you've come..."
Three-Tails slowly turned around, its single eye full of malice. "You dare invade Konoha, a village so friendly to Tailed Beasts? Unforgivable!!"
Take this Tailed Beast Bomb!
Three-Tails opened its mouth and formed a half-meter-wide Tailed Beast Bomb, then fired it furiously at the giant bird in the sky.
"Caw!!" Yatagarasu flapped its wings and easily dodged the Tailed Beast Bomb, then swooped around and tossed Kisame Hoshigaki and Kakuzu off its back.
"Roar!!"
Three-Tails roared and fired two more massive water spheres at Kisame and Kakuzu.
"Water Release: Great Exploding Water Colliding Wave!" Kisame sneered and unleashed his full power, spewing enough water to fill a lake. It became a gigantic waterfall that thundered down!
The two massive water spheres collided with the waterfall, were swept along by its current, and joined the flood as it crashed down.
Three-Tails sneered. "You're using Water Release against me? How naive!"
It didn't dodge, letting the waterfall crash over its back. But...
"What's going on?" Three-Tails looked around and saw that the waterfall had become a huge, oval lake centered on it!

The next moment, Kisame and Kakuzu jumped into the lake.
