Senzu Beans were one of the reasons Turles had come to Earth. At first, the beans seemed to have little use, and Korin had treated them as a way to fill his belly. Eating just one meant you wouldn't need to eat for ten days.

After Yajirobe had carried the badly injured Son Goku up Korin Tower, Son Goku ate a Senzu Bean and recovered instantly. That must have been the first time the beans had shown how powerful their healing effect was.

Unfortunately, Yajirobe had gobbled them up, and their numbers had dwindled. Later on, the Z Fighters had to count out each bean they used.

Turles knew Korin probably didn't have many Senzu Beans left. Even so, just getting one would give Turles a valuable life-saving trump card.

Korin looked at the face identical to Son Goku's and seemed surprised, but he soon regained his sage-like composure. He waved a paw and said, "It's fine, it's fine. You should keep your subordinate in line."

Turles glanced at Korin's trembling legs but didn't call him out. Instead, he smiled and said, "Yes, yes! I'll make sure to keep him in line!"

Seeing how agreeable Turles was, Korin asked in confusion, "By the way, I still don't know who you are. Why do you look exactly like that kid Son Goku? Could you be his brother?"

Turles's mouth twitched. "My name's Turles. I'm one of Son Goku's people, not his brother. That one is." He nodded toward Raditz.

"They really don't look like brothers," Korin muttered.

"By the way, what do you want with me?"

Korin didn't know that Turles was the one whose released power had nearly scared him to death earlier. Now that he'd relaxed, he asked rather casually.

Turles didn't bother with pleasantries. "I heard you grow a miraculous kind of bean. Could I take a look?"

"Hm?" Korin's narrow eyes suddenly widened. He asked in confusion, "How did you know about that? Did Son Goku tell you?"

Turles didn't explain. He just smiled at Korin.

Korin had only asked offhandedly and didn't really care about the answer. Besides, he'd grown the Senzu Beans himself out of boredom. Otherwise, he wouldn't have let Yajirobe gobble them all up.

"Here, this is one!" Korin scratched his rear, then suddenly pulled out a Senzu Bean and tossed it to Turles.

Looking at the bean in his hand, Turles was a little surprised. He hadn't expected to get his hands on one of the Dragon Ball world's most powerful life-saving treasures so easily.

To be honest, Turles admired the mindset of Earth's martial artists. Mr. Popo, Korin standing before him, and even that lecherous old man—all of them had truly remarkable spiritual cultivation.

Earth had Dragon Balls, but these martial arts masters had never thought of using them to increase their strength. Even a treasure like the Senzu Bean wasn't something they pursued too eagerly. Their mindset was something Turles could learn from.

"Unbound by things, even grass, trees, bamboo, and stones can become swords!"

Still, seeing that Korin had pulled the Senzu Bean out from behind himself made Turles feel a little queasy.

Then he caught sight of Raditz nearby and had an idea.

"Raditz, come here!" Turles called to him.

When Raditz heard Turles call, he didn't dare delay. He hurried over and asked, "What can I do for you, boss?"

Turles looked Raditz up and down, then even squeezed the muscles in his arm. After a moment, he nodded with satisfaction.

Turles's actions made Raditz feel uneasy. He couldn't help asking in a trembling voice, "Boss, you..."

Before Raditz could finish, Turles suddenly struck like lightning. A beam of light pierced Raditz's chest, tearing a hole through it just beside his heart.

"Boss, you..." Raditz couldn't believe it. His body slowly crumpled to the ground.

Turles's sudden attack stunned everyone. Kami, Piccolo, and Korin all stared at him in horror. Even Dero looked incredulous, then immediately went on full alert and fixed his gaze on Turles.

Son Goku leaped up and rushed straight toward Turles!

Turles ignored Son Goku and kept his eyes fixed on Raditz, sending his Psychic Power into Raditz's body to carefully monitor his vital signs.

When Son Goku reached him, Turles waved a hand and sent him flying back. Then he immediately shoved the Senzu Bean into Raditz's mouth and continued watching his condition.
