"Thank you, Mr. Fool!"
Lynch was much more serious this time, and Klein saw that the light emanating from his spirit body turned into emotion.
"It's alright, this is your payment for memorizing those diaries."
"Mr. Fool said softly."
Lynch is too trusting. He's an evil god, and I used to hate him, but now I'm moved by him.
But he realized that Lynch was probably doing this more to avenge him.
He even believes in evil gods!
Klein pursed his lips, afraid he would burst into tears, and could only turn to look at Mr. Hanged Man.
This gentleman should have reached the shore by now. I wonder if he got his hands on Roselle's Diary. Although Catlin said that Stephanie's diary would be more useful to him, Klein still felt that it would be better to refer to both diaries.
"Mr. Fool, I received 19 pages of the diary, but my memory isn't very good, so I may need to deliver it to you in several installments."
Mr. Hanged Man quickly and respectfully said.
Klein's joy dispelled his earlier sorrow, and he immediately sat up straight.
"Can."
He said it casually.
"Mr. Fool, I wrote two pages in my diary this time."
Lynch also raised his hand.
He noticed that everyone except Mr. Sun was looking at him, clearly surprised that he could remember so much.
"This is my apology to Mr. Fool. I used to think of Mr. Fool as a tyrannical and terrifying evil god, but lately I've discovered that Mr. Fool. Moreover, the Tarot Club introduced me to you all, and I'm very touched."
Lynch said sincerely.
Miss Justice immediately smiled sheepishly.
Oh dear, Mr. Power, you're so straightforward! Only Mr. Power could express gratitude so frankly; it makes me blush.
Also, I really hope Mr. Fool isn't angry about Mr. Power's previous misunderstandings about his words. Mr. Power is just straightforward; he has no flaws.
Mr. Hanged Man chuckled slightly. This Mr. Power should really be grateful that he has a powerful elder, otherwise, with such an easily moved personality, he would have been toyed with to death by the evil god long ago.
However, he did not show it, but instead lowered his head as much as possible, afraid that Mr. Fool would notice his emotions.
While Mr. Hanged Man and Miss Justice were deep in thought, Mr. Sun nodded in agreement.
"Mr. Power, you're right. Mr. Fool is truly a very good God. By the way, Mr. Fool mentioned that a sacrificial Ritual can be used. I can give you that Beyonder Characteristic when I get back. Actually, I should give you two."
He shouted.
Audrey nearly fell backward.
What is this Mr. Sun talking about?!
Everyone is thanking Mr. Fool, so why did he mention Beyonder Characteristic?
This made his gratitude seem insignificant; I wonder if Mr. Fool will be angry?
Mr. Fool shouldn't be angry; at least compared to Lynch's previous behavior, Little Sun has finally shown him some respect.
"No need, just give me one. I don't need many, I'm not short of money."
Lynch said casually.
Klein felt like he was suffocating. He now felt envious and jealous whenever he heard the word "money," especially money that didn't lack for it.
He didn't want to hear any more of this, so he took the diaries that Lynch and the others had materialized and started reading them.
He first looked at Roselle's Diary.
The first page describes Roselle's encounter with Mr. Door, his hearing of the Underworld Emperor Mr. Door, and a speculation that before the Fifth Epoch, the God would personally intervene.
On page two, Roselle states that the total number of Beyonder Characteristic is fixed; for the same Sequence, if there are more High Sequence, there will be fewer Low Sequence, and vice versa.
On the third page, Roselle complained about his Savant Pathway, arguing that the lack of Savant bonuses in the early stages made it very inconvenient for him.
The fourth page of the diary indicates that a riot has broken out, which Roselle sees as his opportunity.
Pages five and six were mostly Roselle's evaluations of the lady, which made Klein shake his head repeatedly.
These guys made him feel utterly ashamed.
He chuckled as he put down Roselle's Diary and picked up the diary Lynch had made up for him.
"On November 4th, I took the Magician's Potion. I've already digested the Clown Potion; honestly, the Clown digested quite well at the circus. But the real reason I completely digested it is that I discovered Isaac actually has a girlfriend! Those damn Loen gentlemen, he actually cheated on me!"
Klein's expression furrowed.
How dare this senior call someone a scumbag? She's practically the same, isn't she?
However, this kind of emotional life obviously doesn't need his judgment; he can only continue to observe.
Also, is the Clown's follow-up Potion the Magician's?
They're all regulars at the circus, so why did he choose the Seer Pathway in the first place?
In battle, he was of little use; Ince Zangwill killed him with a single, easy blow. Otherwise, he could definitely be with Lynch now, continuing to work for the Nighthawks and collect Potion.
Now he has to figure everything out himself, and just thinking about it makes me feel terrible.
"On November 6th, my friend Mr. Dex from the circus confessed his feelings to me. To be honest, he's a bit too young; he's not even an adult yet. I personally don't like this type."
"November 7th, Mr. Dex isn't actually that young anymore, but I think he's doing pretty well, hahaha, nobody understands my happiness!"
Klein:??
Seriously, senior, just a few days ago you were cursing these damned Loen gentlemen!
"Dex is Beyonder on the Reader Pathway. I quite like him, so I slept with him for a few more nights. In bed, I heard him say that he would soon be able to join the Detective Association, with a monthly membership fee of five pounds."
Good heavens, that's equivalent to the life-saving fee for an ambassador! Honestly, Klein really ripped off. He only accepted a five-pound commission and then spent ten thousand pounds to settle this matter. I bet if Klein had just taken the Clown Potion, it would have melted in his mouth.
Klein shifted his body.
This senior colleague finally wrote something useful; a five-pound commission cost him ten thousand pounds—it's terrifying to think about.
He had to pay close attention to this number; if anyone came with five pounds, he had to kick them out.
He doesn't have a single penny to do this right now.
He made a careful decision: once he left Sefirah Castle, he would memorize the entire page of the diary so that he could better avoid this situation.
Klein put the page of the diary down and then looked at the next page.
Then he froze.
"December 1st, Dex was really good. We were always exhausted after each fight, but being tired allowed me to concentrate on some things. I'm planning to leave here. I've played the role of the Magician enough. I'm going to look for clues about the Faceless's Potion. Of course, the main reason is that I'm tired of this kind of life. I hope to go somewhere where no one knows me."
However, I need to disguise myself properly during this time. I can't be like Klein, who just casually disguised himself and was discovered by Leonard, who almost dragged him directly into the Nighthawks team so that Mr. Power could take a good look at him.
Klein:!!
What? There's something so terrifying about this?
