Klein's Suspicion
Klein thought Mr. Azik might actually be a bit like Mr. Catlin, but he quickly shook his head.
No, Lynch met Mr. Azik after he joined the security company. If Lynch had known Mr. Azik before, the original owner of this body would have known.
Of course, the possibility that Mr. Azik and Lynch were deliberately putting on a show cannot be ruled out.
But Klein thought about Lynch's usual behavior and felt that he wasn't the type of person who would hide his true feelings.
If Lynch could express his dissatisfaction so directly at Sefirah Castle, how much more so would he do outside?
So even if Mr. Azik might hide it, Lynch wouldn't.
Of course, it's also possible that Mr. Azik is actually Mr. Catlin in disguise, pretending to have no connection with Lynch on the surface while secretly mentoring Lynch behind his back.
But that doesn't make sense either. If Mr. Azik really was Mr. Catlin, then the other party wouldn't have approached him, much less warned him that he was in trouble.
In short, Klein still wanted to believe that Mr. Azik had not hidden anything and that he had no connection with Mr. Catlin.
but...
Klein made an excuse to go to the restroom, where he performed divination several times and finally confirmed his guess.
The conditions are insufficient for divination.
I don't think so, do I?
If Mr. Azik really is Catlin, then wasn't he just making a fool of himself in front of someone he knew?
Klein agonized over it all night, so much so that he had heavy dark circles under his eyes when he went to the security company the next morning.
"My God! Klein, what's wrong with you? Are you trying to be like Lynch, wanting to become a Sleepless?"
Rozanne looked at him in surprise and asked.
Klein really wanted to say that he was scared; ever since he learned about Catlin, no, ever since he learned about Catlin and his teacher, he often felt his face flush and his heart race.
Unfortunately, he couldn't say that to Rozanne. He could only point to the Tingen Honest Man Newspaper in front of Rozanne and laugh, "Lanevus is truly someone I envy. Ever since I found out about him, I haven't been able to sleep."
Rozanne suddenly realized.
That Lanevus swindled me out of my £10,000 savings and then disappeared without a trace; it's truly enviable.
Ten thousand pounds!
With this money, it's more than enough to live comfortably in Tingen in your old age.
"Envious? I thought you wouldn't be envious of a mere ten thousand pounds!"
Just as Rozanne was about to discuss with Klein how despicable Lanevus was, Leonard's voice came from behind them.
"Huh? What do you mean?"
Klein looked at him in surprise, not understanding what was wrong with this guy now.
"I'm just wondering why you always seem to be one step ahead of others when it comes to things lately?"
Leonard a gentle tone, but the suspicion in his eyes was almost impossible to conceal.
After this period of time, he is increasingly convinced that Klein is a high-level Beyonder Seer must have some ulterior motive for coming to Tingen.
He just didn't know when this guy would leave; with this guy around, he didn't even dare to let his guard down.
Klein was also getting annoyed by this guy's suspicions. Although he was indeed suspicious, it wasn't him at all!
He was also a victim, but Leonard just kept picking on him.
"If you have evidence, then go ahead and report me!"
Leonard remained noncommittal, then, as if remembering something, continued, "I heard you also saw the figure and eyes behind Old Neil before. Why didn't you say anything, and instead concealed this fact?"
Klein:...
He genuinely didn't know at the time and thought it was a normal phenomenon. It wasn't until Lynch reported it that he realized there was a problem.
He wanted to explain, but looking at Leonard's eyes, he sighed and said helplessly, "I've told the Holy Cathedral everything I needed to say. I really didn't know there was a problem. Okay, I have to go to class. Lynch is off today, and Old Neil said he'd teach me something difficult."
He walked past Leonard and hurried downstairs.
Leonard was left standing there, somewhat puzzled.
He spoke softly, as if talking to himself, yet also as if addressing someone else. "Really? If it's acting, then he's acting incredibly well!"
Mid-August.
With temperatures continuing to rise, Lynch now trains without a shirt on. He simply can't stand having to wear a suit and dress like a gentleman while shooting and fighting in this weather.
Klein couldn't stand it either; the two of them were like wild horses running rampant under their martial arts instructor, Gawain.
Mr. Gawain was so angry that he often complained about them.
But Klein had already been corrupted by Lynch, and when Gawain nagged him, Klein and Lynch just ignored him like they had donkey hair stuffed in their ears.
However, Klein still felt that Gawain preferred Lynch, because that guy was simply a genius in combat.
She learns quickly and well, and works hard, which makes him, an office worker, extremely envious and jealous.
If it weren't for Lynch's poor memory, which allowed him to find a balance, he really wanted to go back to the day he chose his Pathway and tell the captain that he also wanted to choose the Sleepless's Pathway.
Perhaps by choosing the Sleepless, he could avoid bearing the responsibility of the Sefirah Castle.
Thinking about what Ms. Stephanie had written in her diary, he sighed deeply. That wretched Roselle!
He was foolish to have listened and chosen the Seer; now it's too late for regrets.
Klein glanced at Lynch's relaxed appearance again, then sighed deeply, making sure to maintain his posture, otherwise Mr. Gawain would definitely scold him in an unhappy tone, saying that he wasn't talented enough and didn't work hard enough.
God knows, he really tried his best.
This is roughly the difference between clerical staff and field staff.
At the very least, Lynch has a bad memory!
Klein kept telling himself that was true, but when he thought about Lynch's behavior during this period, he couldn't help but grit his teeth.
Perhaps it was because of his Advancement to Poet, a Sequence that, while not enhancing memory, Pathway more cultured, which made Lynch's memory seem to return to normal.
Although the captain occasionally forgets things, overall it's still pretty good.
So why didn't he choose the Sleepless in the first place?
He digests quickly, has great stamina, and is very useful for exercise; he doesn't seem like Seer at all. He really felt like crying.
Speaking of digestion, Klein turned to Lynch beside him and asked hesitantly, "Aren't you planning to digest the Poet's Potion lately?"
Last week, someone from the Holy Cathedral came and made them swear an oath before the Goddess's scepter, forbidding them from Acting Method the outcast. Since then, he hasn't seen Lynch play the Poet.
This guy hardly ever recites poetry; I don't know if it's because he likes exercising, but he's neglected everything else.
"I know of a Poetry Culture Appreciation Club, would you like me to recommend it to you?"
I heard that to join this club, you need to memorize the entire collection of Roselle's poems. I wonder how long it will take Lynch to succeed.
Klein was determined to persuade Lynch to join the club.
