Background / History

Bibi Dong was Qian Xunji's disciple and the mother of their daughter, Qian Renxue. Qian Daoliu knew of and tacitly tolerated his son's actions toward her, later carrying deep guilt over the consequences. Bibi Dong eventually took revenge by devouring the severely wounded Qian Xunji alive. Her relationship with Qian Renxue became dangerous and antagonistic; Qian Daoliu repeatedly intervened when she nearly killed her daughter 22 232.

Yu Xiaogang was her former love interest. During that relationship, she gave him access to Spirit Hall's highest-level library and protected him when his publications threatened to expose its cultivation knowledge. She later regarded his theories as shallow conjectures and rejected his experiments on other people's martial souls 176.

Before receiving the Sea God inheritance, she had led Martial Soul Hall troops against Sea God Island in an attempt to seize its cultivation resources. Bo Saixi defeated that expedition and still recognized her years later 253.

Her intelligence allows her to infer his soul-ring storage ability without being told its mechanism 17 20 21 24.

The Rakshasa inheritance intensifies her negative emotions and makes her increasingly unpredictable. During Chen Xing's early training, she enjoys pursuing and striking him as a form of emotional release; his pure life energy instead gives her relief and clarity. Even then, she can respect boundaries: when reminded of her promise not to investigate his secrets, she stops questioning him about his soul skill 23 28 32 40.

After abandoning Rakshasa, she becomes visibly more relaxed and affectionate, but her possessiveness remains. After learning of Chen Xing's extraordinary talent, Bibi Dong orders Gui Mei and Yue Guan to bring him to her regardless of opposition. His abduction creates a direct standoff between the two halls. She combines an offer of extensive cultivation resources with threats against refusal, ultimately securing him for the Pope Hall 17 20 21 23.

His unusually pure life energy changes her interest from factional spite to personal fascination. She begins teaching him directly, but the training is brutal and repeatedly leaves him injured. The struggle over his allegiance escalates into combat with the Worship Hall; during that clash, Guang Ling's arrow pierces Bibi Dong through the back of her heart 27 28 35 45 47 48.

Reunion and Rejection of Rakshasa

Years later, Bibi Dong senses the aura of a second Rakshasa successor in Slaughter City. Reunited with Chen Xing, she evacuates him when Tang Chen's power becomes too dangerous. The reunion also exposes his relationship with Qian Renxue and his knowledge of Bibi Dong's traumatic past, provoking anger, panic, and feelings of unworthiness 153 156 158 159.

Their relationship becomes possessive and coercive. Chen Xing nevertheless supplies the soul bone and immortal herb that allow her to abandon Rakshasa safely. She loses much of her cultivation but regains emotional clarity and freedom from the inheritance's suppression 160 168 172.

Return Against Spirit Hall and Reconciliation

After recovering to level 95, Bibi Dong joins Chen Xing's attack on Martial Soul Hall and confronts Guang Ling. Her changed appearance surprises her former faction, while Devour Barrier makes her especially effective against groups 228 230.

She subsequently has a private conversation with Qian Renxue, apologizing for her past conduct and admitting that she forced Chen Xing into their relationship despite knowing he was already seeing her daughter. Qian Renxue accepts both the apology and their shared situation. Bibi Dong then steps aside to let Chen Xing spend time with Qian Renxue 235 236.

Sea God Inheritance

Bibi Dong helps fight Ye Lingling and later holds off the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King while Chen Xing charges Moon Slasher. Undying Body allows her to survive the whale king's counterattack 244 246 252.

Selected for the Sea God Nine Trials, she pursues this inheritance for love rather than the hatred that drove her toward Rakshasa. She obtains the trident through the seventh trial, then confronts illusions of her past actions in the final Seven Emotions trial. Rescue and Later Return

Immediately after ascension, Bibi Dong learns that Ye Lingling has captured Chen Xing and left him near death.
