Background / History

Chen Xing was a transmigrator from Earth who awakened in the Soul Hunting Forest as a ten-year Solitary Bamboo. After obtaining the Hextech System, he used its “Unconventional” option to take the form of a six-year-old human boy. From the outset, he intended to cultivate rapidly and become a god before Tang San. 1

He traveled to Holy Soul Village and fused with Ah Yin’s Blue Silver Emperor Spirit Bone, greatly increasing his soul power. When Ah Yin asked to be taken from the waterfall cave where Tang Hao had left her, Chen Xing accepted her offer: he would return her to her ancestral lands, while she would help evolve his martial soul. 2 3

Following the evolution of his bamboo martial soul into the Purple Imperial Bamboo, Chen Xing became entangled in the conflict between the Worship Hall and Pope Hall. Qian Renxue recruited him under her Xue Qinghe identity, but Bibi Dong later had Gui Mei abduct him to Martial Soul City.
