History

Recruitment of Zhang Su

The Guiyuan Sect regarded entry into the Upper Sect as its best chance of survival against Jingyuan Sect. Its leaders resolved to send Zhang Su to Primordial Unity Peak, using their Three-Thousand-Year Ice Lotus to secure him a Registered Disciple position. 135 136

Zhang Su received Primordial Unity Peak’s Registered Disciple token during the Upper Sect selection, while the rest of Guiyuan Sect’s contingent failed to obtain Official Disciple places. 139 140

Rise at Primordial Unity Peak

After proving he possessed Supreme Internal Force, Zhang Su became an Official Disciple and moved into Courtyard No. 36. 157 Peak Master Gu Changyuan later appointed him Chief Disciple after accepting his replicable Perfect Gang Force cultivation method, rewarding him with 5,000 merit points and a share of the method’s exchange fees. 158

Zhang Su’s promotion drew opposition from senior Official Disciples, but he established his position by sweeping Tianjian Peak during the Nine Peaks Tournament. 160 163

Personal Disciple and Regional Guardian

Zhang Su passed the Personal Disciple examination by defeating a Xiantian-level puppet in four sword strikes. He received purple robes, selected Boundless Cave as his residence, and was awarded 20,000 merit points for his Gan Capital mission. 177

Following his War Tower record, Zhang Su was recognized as the Second Personal Disciple and appointed Warden of the Three Ridges Region. 183 As garrison commander, he returned to Three Ridges City, purged its Six Departments, and established the Hidden Market as a major Essence Crystal-based trading center. 187
