Background / History

Ning Qinghe transmigrated to the Douluo Continent and became the youngest son of Ning Fengzhi, sect master of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect. He retained an adult mind and photographic memory, allowing him to develop research plans long before his Martial Soul awakening. 1 4

At his awakening ceremony, he received only half a level of innate soul power and a broken pagoda base Martial Soul. Rather than accepting this as a dead end, he declared that insufficient innate soul power merely meant taking “a few more steps” and sought his father’s backing for research into Martial Soul Evolution and absorption limits. 2

With Ning Fengzhi’s support, he gathered low-talent sect members, established the Extreme Research Institute and an academy in Seven Treasure City, and used cultivation, body-tempering, medicinal, and soul-ring research to prove that weak starting talent could be overcome. 3 4 6
