His confidence frequently becomes recklessness. Even after being ambushed by repeated Title Douluo-level Soul Cannon strikes, he answers humiliation with escalating force, eventually detonating his spirit rings rather than retreating. 57 60

When crippled and rejected by the Clear Sky Sect, Tang Hao accepts responsibility for the conflict and offers his own life to end it. Assault on the Extreme Research Institute

After learning that Tang San had been injured, Tang Hao interrogates and kills a Fire Leopard Sect member for information. He infiltrates the Extreme Research Institute to kill or kidnap Ning Qinghe and acquire its limit-breaking research for the Clear Sky Sect. 56 57

The institute's Soul Cannons ambush him with repeated Title Douluo-level attacks, severely injuring him. Tang Hao counters with his True Body, Slaughter God's Domain, Great Sumeru Hammer, and Ring Detonation, but Chen Xin and Gu Rong steadily wear him down. 57 59 60

Rather than pursue Ning Qinghe, Tang Hao breaks into Tang San's ward, strikes Yu Xiaogang, takes Tang San, and escapes. 61

Clear Sky Sect Exile

Tang Hao's attack brings bounties and widespread hostility upon both himself and the Clear Sky Sect. His return to the sect while critically injured triggers an internal confrontation led by Lieyang Douluo. 64 75 80 81

Unable to endure the sect's division, Tang Hao offers his life to settle the conflict. Tang Xiao refuses to surrender him, while Tang Hao removes and returns the sect's inherited spirit bones before declaring himself unaffiliated with the Clear Sky Sect. 83 84

Recovery and Return

Tang Chen finds Tang Hao poisoned, crippled, and near death. After stabilizing him, Tang Chen obtains the Crystal Blood Dragon Ginseng from Bai He and uses the Blood-Red Nine-Headed Bat King's essence to rebuild Tang Hao's body. 128 132 133
