Background / History

Qian Daoliu was the 132nd Pope of Martial Soul Hall and father of Qian Xunji and Qian Xun'an. When Qian Xun'an disappeared as a child, Qian Daoliu eventually withdrew from direct rule and became the Great Elder and First Worship of the Worship Hall. He allowed Bibi Dong to succeed as Pope after Qian Xunji's death, believing that the Qian family owed her a debt and that her leadership had strengthened Martial Soul Hall. 4 6 10

He was reunited with Qian Xun'an after decades apart. Recognizing his son through their shared Angel bloodline and aura, Qian Daoliu was overcome with emotion at his return. He learned that Qian Xun'an had survived in an isolated realm filled with powerful spirit beasts and dragons, emerging as a level 99 Limit Douluo. 3

Qian Daoliu initially told Qian Xun'an that Tang Hao had killed Qian Xunji, while concealing Bibi Dong's involvement. He repeatedly tried to prevent Qian Xun'an from executing Bibi Dong, citing Qian Xunji's wrongdoing toward her, her value to Martial Soul Hall, her status as Qian Renxue's mother, and her connection to a divine inheritance. He ultimately testified against Bibi Dong when her crimes were exposed. 3 4 52 53

As guardian of the Angel God's inheritance, Qian Daoliu guided Qian Renxue through the Angel Nine Trials and into the true Angel Temple. He sacrificed his body and soul to complete her final inheritance, allowing her to become the Angel God. 70 71 90 91

Qian Xun'an later sought the Goddess of Life's aid and secured Qian Daoliu's resurrection. Reborn with youth and vitality, Qian Daoliu returned to Martial Soul Hall, received the Sky Feather God godhood, and remained with Qian Renxue to protect their home. 138 139
