Background

Qian Xun'an was the younger son of Qian Daoliu and the younger brother of Qian Xunji. As a child, he was regarded as Martial Soul Hall's greatest genius and its designated Holy Son; had he not disappeared, he was expected to inherit the papacy. Though more talented than Qian Xunji, he remembered his brother as generous, protective, and never jealous of him. 2 4 10

At age ten, Qian Xun'an accidentally entered a strange dimension inhabited by powerful spirit beasts and legendary dragons. Unable to leave, he cultivated there for countless years, hunted spirit beasts for soul rings, acquired spirit bones from dragon remains, and eventually reached level 99. A door opened only after he broke through the plane, allowing him to return to Douluo Continent decades later. 3 5
