Freya was born in Elvin Village, Talun County. Her mother came from the northern Staya tribe, while her father was a declining noble who abandoned his family status to remain with her mother. Freya inherited a demi-human bloodline that manifests as pink cat ears, an identity she was taught to regard as impure. 24 33

Because she could receive divine revelations through dreams from a young age, Bishop Paul brought her to the capital, where she became the Church of Holy Light's Saintess. Her dreams later led her to seek Ansu, whom she believed to be the Chosen One destined to save the world and reform the Church. 23 24

As Ansu's early collaborator, Freya secretly monitored three bishops at his request and investigated Church information about remnants of the ancient Demon Army and their buried treasure.
