"Mentor, do you like pink that much?"

The two left the Star Gate and returned to the Star-Gazing Tower.
Thor rubbed his forehead. Now that he knew Lady Ula was actually a Soul Fragment Mentor Gorsa had prepared for him long ago, he couldn't look at that name the same way anymore.
"Please don't blame Ula for it."
"Blame? Heh, you mean the cauldron?"
The two stood in the room where Alik had been.
Gorsa raised a hand and gently swept it to the side. The gravity in the entire room returned to normal.
He had no intention of keeping watch over the Star Gate.
"I thought you called me here because you wanted to kill Alik." Gorsa walked over and unceremoniously pulled Alik's recliner toward him, then sprawled out on it.
But as soon as he lay down, he found it uncomfortable. Black shadows surged over the recliner and dragged it into the shadow on the floor, where it vanished.
Gorsa then took out the giant pink sofa he had always loved and flopped down on it instead.
The huge, soft pink sofa clashed with the decorations in Alik's room, but neither of them cared.
"If I can't destroy a Tier 4 Wizard's foundation, I can't kill one for good. And killing Alik just once would take too much effort for too little gain." Thor wasn't shy about it either. He took out the pink sofa Gorsa had given him, though he sat more properly than Gorsa did.
"So you've made an enemy of Alik by dealing with a mere Third Rank wizard. That sounds like a terrible bargain."
