Seeing Kismet start his usual cryptic routine again, Thor smiled, then suddenly attacked him.

Several translucent gray tentacles emerged from Kismet's head, the ground beneath him, and the wall behind him. At first glance, they looked like an anemone opening its mouth.

Kismet could only flee forward, but Thor's figure flickered and appeared right in front of him.

Kismet wasn't afraid. Instead, excitement showed in his eyes, as if he'd long wanted to have a fight like this with Thor.

The harp spinning constantly in his hand came to a halt. His ring finger and little finger swiftly swept across the strings.

Two sharp notes rang out. The air rippled faintly, and invisible sound waves spread in every direction.

Before the sound waves could reach him, three eyes suddenly appeared on Thor's forehead and cheeks. The eye on his forehead blinked, and the vibrations in the air immediately vanished.

The other two eyes turned toward Kismet at the same time. Thor's black eyes and his pair of colorful Star Eyes blinked in perfect synchrony.

Kismet had just started to dodge when his head gave a sudden buzz. It felt as though something slippery had squeezed its way between his brain and skull.

Kismet immediately snapped one of the harp strings, then flicked it so that it shot into the back of his head.

But from Kismet's perspective, although the string had pierced his skull and nearly reached his cerebral cortex, he hadn't managed to catch the unwelcome intruder in his brain.

His expression changed slightly, and he could no longer keep smiling excitedly.

"Little Brother Master, isn't it a bit much to go all out right off the bat? We're on the same side, after all."
