Faced with Thor's doubts, Kismet didn't look the least bit guilty. "Of course I want to help you."
Thor narrowed his eyes. "You said you'd risk your life to help me. Is this what you call risking your life?"
Kismet smiled brightly. "Hee-hee, it's not like we're at a critical moment yet, is it?"
Thor lowered his head and looked at the sea beneath his feet.
The seawater had turned completely black. The familiar stench of Corruption was like a sea monster waking from its slumber, baring its claws and fangs to the world and announcing its presence.
The Eye of the Abyss had fully emerged in the waters north of the Eskaper Continent.
Specks of white began to rise from the seawater.
The moment they appeared, the waves of Corruption below surged several levels higher.
Even Thor and Kismet began to feel the pressure.

Although he had once ventured into the Abyss, he still wouldn't let his guard down now that he was seeing the active Eye of the Abyss again.
This Eye of the Abyss was nothing like the one from before, which had merely defended itself passively and tried to keep Thor out.
Large numbers of Gray-White Skeletons crawled out of the seawater. They stood on the heaving surface. Whether they had heads or not, each one raised some part of its body and stared at Thor through what looked suspiciously like eyes.
Meanwhile, the Eskaper Continent behind Thor kept drawing closer. He could now make out some Wizards on the continent.
They waved their arms, seemingly calling for help.
