Naruto Cells

Soon, Sasuke brought Naruto to the wooded hills behind Konoha. Today, Sasuke wanted to obtain something very important to him: Naruto's cells.

Uchiha Madara had obtained Senju Hashirama's cells, which could gradually catalyze the awakening of the Rinnegan. If Sasuke got Naruto's cells, they should be able to catalyze its awakening too, right? After all, they were both reincarnations of Indra, so the same method should work!

Although the Six Paths Yin Power he'd obtained by refining the Sage of Six Paths' stone tablet could also evolve his Mangekyō Sharingan into the Rinnegan, it had to be used alongside Six Paths Yang Power.

Something that made Sasuke envious happened: the moment the ointment touched Naruto's wound, white steam began to rise from it. A second later, the wound was completely healed!

"What an incredible ability! I'll have it someday too!" Sasuke put away the kunai and slowly stepped away from Naruto.

Once he'd reached a suitable distance, Sasuke fired a Gōkakyū at the area where Naruto lay, then dispelled Illusion.

"That's hot! You even used ninjutsu? That's not fair..."

As soon as Illusion ended, Naruto scrambled to his feet. Inside the illusion, Sasuke's Shadow Clone had pinned him to the ground.

"Then use some yourself!" Sasuke watched Naruto leap around to dodge the Gōkakyū and smiled calmly. Then he waited.

The reason Sasuke had used Gōkakyū was simple: to destroy the evidence. Some of Naruto's blood had inevitably spilled onto the ground while Sasuke was collecting it.

"Aw, I give up!"

After dodging Sasuke's Gōkakyū, Naruto sat down dejectedly. He really didn't know any other ninjutsu! He hadn't learned Rasengan yet, and Shadow Clone Technique alone wouldn't be enough to beat Sasuke.

"You finally gave up. I'm going home to bed!" When Naruto admitted defeat, Sasuke turned and headed down the hill.

"Wait for me!" Seeing Sasuke head downhill without even saying goodbye, Naruto hurried after him. He didn't want to spend the night in the woods either.

After walking side by side for a while, Sasuke reached his front door.

"You can take your time with the rest of the way. I'm home!" Sasuke patted Naruto's shoulder, then went straight inside, leaving Naruto standing there in utter confusion.

"Baka! You jerk, Sasuke!"

It wasn't until Sasuke had been inside for a while that he heard Naruto yell. Sasuke could only shake his head helplessly. What an idiot—he could've used that time to hurry home.

After Naruto's voice faded, Sasuke returned to his bedroom. Once he confirmed he could open his system as usual, he took out the small vial containing Naruto's cells and carefully opened it.

A tiny piece of flesh floated in Naruto's blood. Seeing this, Sasuke quickly used Shenlian.

A pitch-black eye appeared, and in the blink of an eye, it absorbed Naruto's flesh and blood.
