Children's rhymes had to be taught by someone. But Desterie could never believe that a mere Saint-level being had composed a rhyme that praised a god like this.
The middle-aged man trembled twice, but in the end, under the pressure of their divine might, he answered honestly. "My lords, I don't know.
"Someone did teach me this rhyme and tell me to spread the name of Haiye, God of Creation of Light, but I don't know who that person was or what his name is. I only know that, like you, my lord, he had a God's Domain."
"God of Creation of Light, Haiye..." Desterie pondered the name. He felt he had heard it somewhere before.
But what truly merited attention was that, generally speaking, when a god-level powerhouse emerged from a Material Plane, even if they discovered the wonders of Faith Power, they would usually make vague use of names like Water God, Fire God, or Thunder God. They wouldn't know that Sovereign Sparks siphoned Faith Power from them like bandits, much less clearly understand that a divine name served as a beacon, guiding Faith Power toward its bearer.
Yet this so-called Haiye, God of Creation of Light, not only knew to use a specific name, but also added numerous qualifiers before it, ensuring that the Faith Power generated would continuously converge on him—and bypass the pull of the Sovereign Spark.
Moreover, the lines "The earth is always by your side" and "The Sleeper will awaken at last" were far too pointed. They almost blatantly referred to that dying egg.
But who would direct Faith Power toward an egg? After all, without a Godhead or a Sovereign Spark, no one could benefit from Faith Power.
"How long have you been spreading this rhyme?" Dalayer pressed.
