During the exploration of the necrotic B-404 region, his Thunder Lord power prompts the isolated Photonic Bacteria to recognize him as a new Thunder Messenger. Their reaction awakens the city and leads into the hidden quest to restore its Neural Tower and Crimson Channel 47.

Battlefield Support and Shadow City

His lightning develops beyond direct damage into formation attacks, ally enhancement, and environmental manipulation. During the blood-vessel clearance operation, he tests reduced currents against the living vessel wall and calls the countdown for the mass discharge used to build pressure behind the blockage 141 159 304.

Tier Three and the Molten Tyrant

After developing the Lightning Breathing Technique, Thunder King contributes sustained lightning attacks and support during the Molten Tyrant battle. He narrows his attacks to destroy flame-emitting mouthparts and prevent Dragon Fighting in the Wild from being struck during his escape, but dies before the final kill 337 340 341.

Following the half-hour reconstruction wait, he returns with spare equipment. Dragon Fighting in the Wild gives him a replacement staff, and Thunder King asks for the battle recording because he missed the finishing blow 341.

Liver Region Campaign

Thunder King and Vanguard Across the Realm review Tom Pie’s reconnaissance before the Vanguard moves against the Black Pool. During the campaign, the two serve as a specialist team for eliminating Tier Three Abyss guards 377 382.

Riftwind Winged Beast

Thunder King enters the eastern airspace alone, destroying Tier Three flying beasts and nests until the LV.81 Tier Four lord Calamity Kin · Riftwind Winged Beast confronts him. Its wind blades injure his plasma body and force him to fight around its attack cycle rather than trade blows directly 403 404.

He notices that the beast must draw air after releasing its wind blades.
