Background / History

Linley is the second son of Hogg Baruch and younger brother of Bolan Baruch. He grows up in Wushan Town within the declining Baruch Clan, descendants of the Dragonblood Warriors. Even as a child, he persists through Hillman’s harsh training and vows to become a Saint-level expert. 1 2 3

He initially fails the Baruch Clan’s Dragonblood Needle test, while Bolan successfully awakens and transforms. Linley nevertheless possesses exceptional wind- and earth-style magical talent and enrolls at the Ernst Institute. 5 6

Bolan later visits the institute and awakens Linley’s Dragonblood bloodline using Spine-backed Iron-armored Dragon blood. The awakening makes Linley a rare melee-capable mage and gives him a direct path to Saint-level power. 19
