Lin Li pondered, feeling that at least 90% of the time, Dr. Wells would teach him knowledge about spatial wormholes, black holes, and so on, slowly dragging things out until Barry grew.

Of course, if Dr. Wells used tactics like smuggling people or sending them back East to stall for time until Barry grew, Lin Li wouldn't have many options. It would be a fight to the death then.

The silver light pierced through all three sandbags.

Small iron filings leaked from the finger-sized holes in the sandbags.

Dr. Wells fell silent.

"Even if that fails, I can research an electromagnetic cannon. Once a speedster stops, they will be obliterated by my cannon!"
