Orochimaru and Nara Dan traced Hashirama Senju’s premature death to Ashura’s reincarnated Chakra, which acted as a Chakra Information Entity and eventually stopped his body. Nara Dan revealed the history of Indra and Ashura and how Madara Uchiha awakened the Rinnegan, leaving Orochimaru eager to investigate the powers they had inherited.

• Orochimaru explained that Hashirama Senju’s cells remained capable of regeneration, so a Chakra-bound information entity—not cellular failure—had caused his death.

After understanding the scale of the power and the threat posed by the Otsutsuki, Dan chose to reach for the orb of Gaia’s authority.

• Nara Dan entered the ruins beneath Rōran and found the sealed Dragon Vein without the Flying Thunder God Kunai he expected.
• A purple dragon-shaped light struck Dan and drew his consciousness into the planet’s vast sea of Natural Energy.
• Dan recognized that the Dragon Vein embodied Gaia’s consciousness and saw Chakra nodes—including the nine Tailed Beasts—draining the planet’s Natural Energy.

The Kurta Clan debated whether to help the badly injured stranger, while Elder weighed the danger he might bring. The man woke, silently assessed the clan, and floated away toward the mountains, leaving Kurapika watching him with unusual interest.

• Kurapika argued that the clan should treat the stranger rather than let him die, while other members feared he would endanger them.
• Elder studied the man's injuries and strength, then prepared to send him away because he feared the risk to the clan.
• The stranger woke and examined the Kurta Clan, but his throat wound left him unable to speak.
• The man rose into the air without showing any sign of using Nen and flew toward the forest and mountains.

Nara Dan arrived in a new world with severe injuries and dangerous space-time energy still damaging his body. Unable to rely on his physical strength, he used the Rinnegan to catch food while assessing the unfamiliar world and waiting for a new Talent Entry to form.

• Nara Dan killed a giant rabbit with the Rinnegan’s gravity power and drank its blood to replenish his nutrients.
• Nara Dan realized that space-time energy was killing his cells, while his Gang Qi was occupied containing it and his Biological Force Field had vanished.
• Nara Dan relied on the Rinnegan and Samehada’s stored Chakra, which he had to conserve because there was no Natural Energy to replenish it.

Kurapika and Pairo found the injured stranger, Nara Dan, who used his Rinnegan to read Kurapika’s memories and learned they were in the Hunter World. Nara Dan offered to heal Pairo in exchange for food and books, then immediately restored Pairo’s leg.

• Kurapika led Pairo through the forest to search for Nara Dan, hoping the stranger could help them leave Luxen and find treatment for Pairo.
• Kurapika spotted animal remains and blood, then he and Pairo were lifted into a tree by Nara Dan, who crushed and swallowed a venomous snake.
• When Kurapika’s eyes turned scarlet, Nara Dan used the Human Path to read his memories and discovered the Kurta Clan was still safe and the Spider had not yet arrived.

Meanwhile, the Phantom Troupe arrived at the Kurta settlement to provoke and kill its people for their Scarlet Eyes, and the two groups met in the forest.

• Nara Dan failed to gather aura and concluded that his outsider body lacked the structures needed to use Nen.
• Nara Dan reasoned that Gang Qi might manifest an ability through spiritual will and life energy, and decided he needed to study more Nen Users.
• Chrollo led the Phantom Troupe toward the Kurta settlement after Feitan identified the Kurta language spoken by local shoppers.

• Franklin, Feitan, and Machi trapped the Kurta women and children, while Feitan subdued a Kurta guard who tried to ambush him.
• Feitan noticed Pairo’s unusual heartbeat and demanded that he reveal where Kurapika had gone.
• Franklin killed a Kurta woman to pressure Pairo, but Pairo kept silent despite his terror.
