Background

Han Zhangxiang was born when the Han Clan had only a few Foundation Establishment cultivators. As the older generation died off, he inherited the burden of preserving the clan through repeated crises. He was once poisoned by a potent toxin whose lingering effects could not initially be removed; Han Changming and the younger generation later helped eliminate it. 1021

He preserves and conveys the clan's history. The Han Clan once ranked among the South Sea's three great cultivation families, with ten Nascent Soul cultivators, more than a hundred Golden Core cultivators, over one hundred thousand cultivators, secret realms, and spirit-stone mines. Han Zhangxiang is deliberate, cautious, and strongly opposed to gambling the clan's future on uncertain gains.
