Background / History

Beirut lived in the Yulan Plane for millions of years and retained a strong attachment to it, seeing no reason to rename his longtime home. He was already a formidable Mid-God with Darkness and Wind Divine Clones when Ren sought him out in the Forest of Darkness. Though wary of the unknown High-God, Beirut immediately treated Ren with formal respect. 51 52

Ren revealed that profound mysteries could be fused and advised Beirut to begin fusion early rather than wait until reaching High-God. The lesson profoundly changed Beirut's cultivation path; he later attributed his progress to Ren's guidance. 53 119

When the escaped High-God Odin pursued Beirut after Beirut's ambush injured Odin's clone, Ren intervened and killed Odin. Recognizing both Ren's power and the dangers of the Divine Planes, Beirut immediately swore eternal loyalty in the Supreme God's name and became Ren's follower. 58 59

After nearly a million years of adventuring in Hell, Beirut kept his true strength concealed behind a low-ranked Fiend Badge. During a Moon Lake Castle assessment, he casually defeated Black-Clad Guards, then later killed Wurnisen when the Seven-Star Demon attempted to exact revenge on the assessment party. The victory earned Beirut formal recognition as a Seven-Star Fiend. 119 120 122 123

Beirut later accompanied Leilin to the Planar Battlefield as one of Ren's Sovereign Envoys. There, he killed the Commander Aolarowell with his innate ability, joined Resjing's squad, and became a target of Wind Paragon Bayer's retaliation. Bayer could injure Beirut but could not overcome either his God-Eater Rat body or his Soul Defense Sovereign Artifact. 127 128 129 130 131
